the game was really fun and hectic but it was hard for me to understand how everything worked
Yeah, the start can be a bit confusing. A tutorial would have been great :P But thanks for sticking it through and playing along anyway :)
This was such a neat game and so much fun to play! Thanks for letting it run on into a sandbox mode :)
Thanks, I'm really glad people are having fun with it. Haha the sandbox mode was a given - if anything, we're lucky we got the win condition done :P
Extremely fun, the Penguin vibes are great. Really fun mechanics too.
Thanks Oregano :D You're too kind
You add a second player to that, polish the art, and you got yourself a nice Overcooked "Penguin forge" edition! The gameplay is really nice and the fact that you actually included minigames for each type of actions instead of just making the player push a button and wait is a big plus. Solid submission for a one week gamejam!
So glad you liked it! Thanks for playing it on stream :3
WOW, you really put me to work! and I loved it. I could keep smithing all day
Thanks for playing, Xab! Glad you had fun with it.
At first I was like okay, then I was like nah but then I crafted my first sword and saw the delight in my customers eyes and I was like hell yeah! Overall fun concept took me a few to figure out wth was going on but when I fell into the groove it was a time.
Haha heck yeah. I'm really fond of the concept as well. Thanks for playing.
Wow, this is great, but SO hectic! Reminds me of Overcooked. Took me a minute to figure everything out, but once I did it all started to flow. Quite tough though, and I never quite had time to get things organized.
Really impressed by the level of polish and all the different little elements you fit in there in a week. Quite an accomplishment!
We totally were going for an Overcooked vibe!
i love your art style
Thanks!!! Both artists (me and Limesy) are just getting into art. So it was a challenge for both of us!
Nice game, really liked the music and it fits the theme in a creative manner ! I feel the game could have benefitted from the main character being a bit faster, but that could just be me haha
Good work !
The music is great!!!!! Such a great feel.
Pretty cool game, but for some reason my "best time" was 21 minutes, and i'm pretty sure i didnt play it for that long. There's something wrong with the counting of time in your game, so i could only get 0 anvils out of 3.
Oh no! We'll have to look into that.
We had some last minute issues with the high scores, and as a result didn't have time to balance the time properly to make sure that players could get 3/3 anvils. Thanks for playing, sorry about the high score issues! (edit: we realized that we forgot to set the timer back to 0...so it added something like 10 or 12 minutes to your time :/ We are posting a patch sometime today that fixed that and some other small tweaks if you'd like to try for 3 anvils again)
I want mooooooore! This is such a neat little concept. Very fun to play.
I loved bringing raw, unworked steel to my forge, pouring bucket after bucket of coal to heat the metal until it's ready to be worked, then hammering that steel into a masterwork quality dagger blade. I adored fitting it with a hand crafted handle, then ever-so-carefully adorning it with a rare gem, approaching the shop window, carefully preparing to present it to the customer, then watching as they grunt and moan then walk away just before I reach them.
10/10 Would waste my time crafting The Masterwork Jeweled Dagger of Kindred again!
I loved watching you play the game =]
Absolutely love this!
thank you kitsunne!! we had a blast with it
