Can't believe I didn't get around to playing this one while voting was still on! This is really fun and a great jam entry overall. It's got nice polish, and definitely still enough depth to it to be fun!
Thanks for checking it out after the jam! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, what a fantastic game, very polished and great artwork!
it's a fun idea. And it was fun playing too!
This is a really cool fighting game. I spent a lot of time trying to upgrade my stuff. I have a video where I play this game and others from this jam and this one eats like 5 min of the 18 min video lol
I do like the concept really fun! Sure some of the parts seem like they needed balancing, but the fact I finished is a sign it has good bones.
Probably one of the most entertaining games I've found in the jam! The whole aspect of building your own monster is creative and very fun, and trying to get all the pieces and stats in was so addicting! Great job
Love the idea! A bit challenging at the start (or maybe I'm bad at it), but since you don't get to go down the ladder it's not a problem. Fun game to waste some time on, even if I had to stop halfway through, tthe progression of parts to buy is well balanced, just right to keep you playing. I mention this because it's the detail that can make or unmake a game like this, and in this case it's done right
Nice art, nice music, and a fun gameplay loop that reminded me of a few browser games I used to play way back when. Nice work!
I do think some of the early game enemies could do with having less evasion, but everything evened out by the end and the consolation money kept early game from being too rough.
Fantastic sprite art :) Stable, feature complete and with a compelling battle-then-upgrade-then-battle gameplay loop, this is a rock solid submission.
Some small issues: enemies seem to evade a lot of my attacks, even after I boost accuracy. The balancing on some of the abilities seems off.
Polished, and fun. Great job! ^_^
Love the art style. Scaling the stats must have been a fair amount of work but it looks like you found a good balance.
No one wants to read a wall of text for a tutorial. I wish the tutorial was more in-depth so I could know how to play.
Keep up the good work!
