Really cute and fun game! I was really bad at it, but I guess that's on me 😅
This was a ton of fun! The controls, visuals, sound - all perfect. The ending was really cute too, well done!
Cute game, simple but effective! The only level I managed to beat was the monkey, since the projectiles from the moth were hard to dodge. The graphics are really cute and have a nice style to them!
Super fun to play, AND controller accessible, which I really love to see. Overall intense gameplay, really enjoyed playing it!
Ok, so I did not manage to finish the Lizard Boss, but luckily my little brother did. The ending was hilarious!
Has the look and feel of a classic Flash game :) Each monster felt solidly unique from the others mechanically and while the game was pretty challenging, it was manageable. I will add that the jump felt a little off to me, but it was really close so I can't quite place my finger on what it was. Nice job overall.
I agree that the jump feels weird. Something to keep in mind for the future. Thanks for your feedback!
Excellent work here! This honestly feels like playing a little kid's comic book in all of the best ways. The art direction works super well here and looks very nice in motion. The game has a great sense of humor. The epilogue put a big ol' smile on my face. The gameplay was that lovely mix of easy to use and tight controls.
Lizard Breath did give me a good bit of trouble, as getting a bad pattern of attack and platforms could lead to either taking blind leaps to escape the chasing fireball or needing to damage boost to keep your distance, but by the end the boss was still very fun.
Also, small exploit for everyone else! If you mash J & K at the same time rapidly while jumping, it can let you hover for bigger jumps!
Loved this one, great work.
Very fun and intense gameplay. It took me a couple tries, but it felt very satisfying to beat Chimp Chump!
(Also nice to see a game made in Godot!)
