It's a strange genre mashup but it works, and it works well! Blending a mundane beach trip with a with an eldritch horror makes for an interesting experience as a player/reader. I like it, it's neat in a way I can't put across concisely.

This is a story I would recommend  to friends.

Definitely subverted my expectations going in!

A lovely change of pace and tone even during... what ended up happening. I skipped reading the description and am glad I did, to be honest. Really good.

This was great; well-written and engaging, with a fun setting. A jolly good time was had by all.

Very Enid Blyton but with a side helping of crazy!

Hehe you took me by surprise. It reminds me the novels I use to read as a kid (bunch of kids solving mysteries...) But with the perfect twist

This was bizarre, but in the best way possible.  (Caribou Steve!)  The protagonist, in particular, is simultaneously so outlandish and yet so incredibly familiar.  This was a lot of fun to read.

I loved where this went! Quite the romp, and yes petting the dog was always a pleasure. And the frogs  :)

This was great! Bonus points for including the ability to pet the dog.
