Really clever idea! I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Cool mechanics implementation, please keep it up! I had some struggles with last level, but I made it :)

My favorite mechancs so far! But I have to agree with the others, it's too repetitive.

Great puzzle game, The thermoluminescence was a great and accurate way to show temperature as well as the fact that temperature reached equilibrium, the theme was on-point. The level design was also good but I have to agree with other comments that some levels needed too much repetiton, maybe if the effect was more dramatic it would be better, once you solve a puzzle executing it should be as painless as possible unless difficult execution is part of the puzzle and game like some puzzle-platformer but this wasn't the case.

another nitpick is that jumping is too unforgiving, you should give a "grace period" when falling from ledges to jump, this is not noticed by most players but feels a lot better, as well as being able to input jumps a bit early from the landing. This is a puzzler not a platformer, but failing the last jump in the level with the hot column and water to the right was really frustrating.

Thank you for detailed feedbacks!

> too much repetition
Now I can agree.

>if the effect was more dramatic it would be better
Honestly,I don't love too dramatic effects which can be seen in many other games.
But I agree I should decorate this game more.

>once you solve a puzzle executing it should be as painless as possible
>another nitpick is that jumping is too unforgiving
I know these are related problems.
Bad control is caused by lack of my code experience.
Giving a "grace period" or some improvements like that will help definitely.

Nice idea but it takes too many trips back and forth to transfer heat to where it needed to go. If there is some mechanic to make that quicker/easier I couldn't find it.

And there's no reason not to have a web-playable build. I downloaded the source and exported to HTML5 and it ran fine for me.

Developer

Thanks for informing about web build. That was my laziness.

Too many trips? Maybe I intended so.
I tend to try to make levels harder..
But as in the last stage, failing to jump and being forced to transfer heat again is frustrating.
It's difficult to balance.

Difficulty's fine but if I know what the solution in making multiple identical trips is just a waste of time. It's not a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of tedium.

I don't hate to do routine work in a game (if it's fun).
But as a puzzle game, unobvious solution with fewer routine works may be ideal.

As you said, If you could guess the solution, everything can be routine task.
Solving rubik cube is a waste of time?
It depends on the players intelligence.
Of course,I don't deny this game can be improved in many aspects.

We took the same interpretation of the theme! :D

Yes, and actually your game is the first one I've played in this Jam because it seemed similar.

You really nailed the theme-- and built a compelling game function out of it! well done.  That said, I think the process of transferring heat takes too long, requires too much repeitition.  With some tuning you could have a really great game here!

Developer

Some repetitions are intended as a solution (e.g. the first stage). If you were bored that is my bad level design.Indeed I excluded this stage because it takes too long time.

I like the idea and it's looking really cute but the heat transfer takes too long and makes the gameplay a bit tiresome

Thanks for playing and comment!
And I had the same impression when I do test play.
Taking time for heat transfer is a reality but now I think I had to make it quicker.
