Good start! I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Hello, thank you for video and glad you liked my hmm...demo :) Wanted to upload some videos myself playing jams games, even have them recorded, but finally cannot find time for it :( Still have plans regarding this game, even if some time passed by.

Oh my god... when i finished the game, those messages make me believe in a future of peace and love.

Developer

Awww ...and there will be no poverty, wars and inequalities...just snow, red-hooded guys, and smartphones.

Google fonts and flat design to the rescue :D Thanks, I'm hope to improve it further!

What's here is promising. I'd be interested to see more.

Developer

I'll try my best with providing more, Thank you and congrats on winning jam! :)

Very nice start and a decent amount of polish on the bits you managed to implement :) I quite like the storm fog effect.

Developer

Thank you! Fog was quick and dirty solution to be honest - it's one big square sticked to the player, not even separated from him as other element. But it worked, glad you liked it :D

Developer

"Sometimes all we need is a little push" and I've been pushed by all the feedback here, thanks to you all I'm constantly thinking about expanding this game, probably as separated project on itch. I'll come back to this after I finally review other jam submissions :)

This is a great teaser that makes me really want to play the full game!

Developer

Thank you! I'm about to create first devblog or something more suitable for expansion of this idea, probably this week :)

Jam Host

Congrats on making your first Godot game! The UI and mechanics you had time to implement are already well polished, and you made it a very funny narrative experience. I'm quite looking forward to follow ups, I'd love to see what you had in mind for this game were you to have time enough to finish it.

Developer

Thanks for review and making this jam! It was great motivation to finally make something and stop staring at the blank page. It means world to me and I'll try my best to expand this idea further. It will be a good step to next projects in Godot!

The Linux version doesn't work, because you only included the Godot binary (`.x86_64` file) and not the archive with your game data (`.pck` file). You should put both together in a zip and upload that on itch, it should then work.

I'll use the source code version to play and rate it though :)

Developer (1 edit)

Oh I forgot to fix that, I'm linux person myself, but using windows 10 now mostly. I'll fix that and upload version that works, thank you :)

Developer

Done and tested ;)

I like breaking the fourth wall, had some laughs with the end. There's potential in this game!

Developer

Thanks, it was my backup plan in case if I'll run out of time, and I did, but at least some of the mechanics are ready, and it's great gift for  me that I made some people smile :D

Hehehe, you made me laugh and therefore entertained me so I'd count this as a success! I'm looking forward to your 100 Metascore future game :)

Developer

Thank you for kind words, I'll try my best to meet expectations :)

It looks lovely, too bad that there's no real gameplay.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! And yes, sorry that I couldn't make more. I'll try to expand it after jam, treat it as prototype :)

For now I want to try other entries and give feedback, then I'll plan what's next.
