Challenging game. I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I was so close to burn all those particles in hell...so close. One bad switch moment and they're back in the freezer. I like this pure physics approach to the theme :)

F*** yeah, thermodynamics!

In all seriousness, it's brilliant how well the mechanic lends itself to engaging gameplay. It gets harder the more particles you get into the right space, and I just wanna see the numbers increase...

Interesting take on the theme, but it needs more work on the concept (goal and failure).

It was hard to tell when a particle was hot and cold, color and speed and probably elements that affect the particles.

Neat idea - this is the only game I've seen so far that took the theme all the way into thermodynamics.

It was hard to tell the hot atoms from the cold ones - there needs to be more color differentiation and I'd like to see the hot atoms moving faster than the slow ones.  It wasn't clear at first what the goal was: let the hot atoms through or the cold ones? It was fun to play with and figure it out though.

Great concept, it really appeals to me as an energy engineer :)

The gameplay itself is a bit hard to grasp initially though, especially if you're not familiar with Maxwell's thought experiment and did not read the intro on the itch page. An instructions screen before the game start would be nice. Even then it's a lot of sheer luck in my experience, I got higher deltas (12K) before understanding the intended gameplay (at that time I was trying to get all atoms in the lower container, regardless of their internal heat) than afterwards when I was trying to only get hotter atoms in the bottom gas.

Great work on the Brownian movement too :) I think the atom colors could be emphasized so that it's easier to differentiate hot and cold atoms - and maybe the velocity factor should be increased too.

That's a nice little toy. Not much of a game there.

Theme interpretation so deep all the way to atoms themselves. Had fun being a demon

Not exactly sure how to play, but looks cool!
