Game Description
Play as a ball of electricity and overload some circuits in this casual puzzle/reaction game.

How does your game tie into the theme?
I took the approach of 'overloading' circuits by lighting up too many lights. This game also overloads the player's reaction with lots of paths and choices.

We basically had the same interpretation for the jam's theme! I really like art-style and audio, the sound effect of the electric spark is very cool too. I think we faced the same dilemma, also in my game I zoom in a little bit, to avoid giving the player too much "directions". Very polished and fun, maybe I would zoom out a little bit more, but not much. Great puzzle game.

Nice game. It would be even nicer if we could see where the bulbs are before we start or have some kind of minimap. Overall, a fun game. Well done!

Cool game. I just wish there was a way to get a glimpse of the level overview before I started picking paths. (But maybe an overview would make it too easy?)

Developer

Yeah part of the game intention is that you don’t know where the bulbs are and you have to find them. You could always try it easy mode first by going to pause -> difficulty -> easy and it zooms the map out a bit.

This is my favourite entry so far! I really dig the concept. I had to drop out at level 10, though. I am unable to memorize so many paths.
I barely could read the tutorial text, though, it goes by so fast.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah I wanted the last level to be satisfyingly challenging, but I understand it might be a bit much 😆 Honestly very flattered you played all the way until Level 10! Thanks for the note on the tutorial screen. It was tough to balance moving too fast and moving too slow.

Maybe a text that follows the spark around would work

Great stuff, one of the most complete games I've seen so far in this jam! There's a small bug where you can still move after you finished the level and once you're in the next level your position is very random. Overall an incredibly polished game, a true game jams' game, well done!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words. And for letting me know about that bug. I played it so many times and thought I QAd everything haha. I guess the players will always be the best QAers. Thanks for playing!
