Thanks, glad you liked it! 🎹

Thanks for the kind words :D

Pretty cool concept! Very nice looking and the audio is nice too. Would be cool if it had levels or more goal-oriented mechanics instead of playing for a high score -- that might also combine pretty well with the different weighted containers. But the way it is now is good for a jam. Solid Entry!

Very cool concept! Reminds me of restaurant games such as overcooked. The art is very nice and begging for some music and sfx! I liked how you combined both a "timed tasks" and organization mechanics too! And that taping minigame was oddly satisfying. I do have some feedback though!

  • I think you should be able to use the mouse instead of pressing E - that would be more intuitive.
  • It would've been cool if pre-scanned boxes had a sticker on them or something, so you could tell if they should be scanned without looking at the little screen to the side. That'll also make it more immersive!
  • Closing the truck screen with X felt a bit unintuitive. I think simply walking away would've worked better -- Unless I missed something? I also think you should be able to send the truck by pressing spacebar.
  • I think the ui at the bottom lacked icons or colors, and while being busy with playing the game it felt very "texty" to understand at a glimpse... If that makes sense?
  • It would be cool if I was able to rotate boxes and to stack them on top of each other.

Very nice entry though. Really wish it had sound or at least some music but I get having to prioritizes tasks with the time constraint and all...

Love the aesthetics of this game! The upgrades were a nice addition too. Took me a moment to realize the controls / placement but that was not a big deal. Nice entry!

True, I wanted to have more enemy types and weapons etc but ran out of time. There are however upgrades after wave 8 and 16, and a ranged enemy, but both appear a bit too late in the game. Something I will definitely fix if I do a post jam update. Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm, I agree. Maybe I could improve that by lowering the amount of maximum juice. I'll think about that for a possible post jam update! Thanks for the feedback :)

This is a really interesting concept, with awesome audio and cute visuals. Juggling between the mouse interface and the game was a bit unintuitive for me, maybe it could combine the numpad for numbers and colors, etc? Not sure how that would work the images puzzle though. I gave up during the (SPOILER) fire levels after trying a couple of times.

There was a bit of a lack of feedback some times - he images green / red colors could be a lot more discernible, and it wasn't clear if floor buttons were actually pressed.

Very nice entry!

Hi! There are 4 types of enemies, the fourth being a ranged enemy that shoots spit at you. In a hindsight they appear too late though. Thanks for the feedback!

Wow! I've had lots of fun with this one! The gameplay is juicy and filled with action, the combat satisfying and the weapon variety interesting (although I would've loved a grenade launcher :P)

This reminds me of hotline miami btw, especially with the great music to amp it up.

There were some enemies who got stuck on walls during the last tunnel level btw.

My only feedback is I would've liked more intense levels and maybe more dramatic lighting and a bit more detail to the graphics.

But it's really really good! Congrats

True, although I've noticed that Godot 4 games on HTML run a lot smoother on chrome than edge. Maybe you could try that if you haven't :)

Edit - also try seeing if hardware acceleration is not disabled in your browser

Cute game, loved the art and sound! The game was a bit tough for me, and maybe the screen was too small... It was a bit hard to aim and the movement felt too slide-y. Other than that, I think what I'm missing is being able to move while aiming! Good entry though 😀

Wow this is an interesting one! I've actually played this one for a while. I love deduction games

This is hilarious! I love it. It's really well made, and the added dialogue is absolutely fantastic, and that classic office assistant giving you verbal comments during your play... What a great entry!

What a great concept and cool execution! Was a bit short - it was just starting to get interesting and devious 😈. Would love an option for restarting, though. This is really neat!

Such a great, simple and fun concept! Loved the music and the art is really nice too. Congrats! 💡

Thanks! 😁 Glad you like it

Great concept and a really cute character and good audio. Everything was a bit too dark for me, so it was hard to tell what's where, and the timers show incorrect time. Solid entry! Well done :D

I will however file an official complaint to corporate 😉 because I was definitely struggling when reaching the timer thingy on the wall to the right in which you can fall through the cubes... Might give this another try later :D

Found it. Will fix it after the jam ends! Thanks :D

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! There are upgrades after completing wave 8 and wave 16 btw :) Should've probably added them a bit earlier!

Totally understandable! And that doesn't take away from the fact that this is very well executed and I do like it. The days do add a more to the game too.

I love the art! Gameplay-wise I think it's an interesting concept, would be cool to have even more match-style minigames to the side! The flying robots sometimes got on top of each other, so it was a bit hard to see what's going on. I wasn't sure if I could somehow collect stuff with the main collector btw. Very cool entry!

Nice game, visuals and music are great. Gameplay wise... Well, it's a typing game! It's nice, but it does get stale fast for me. The office theme and words are a nice touch. I do wish there was a bit more to this though... It reminded me of papers please so I kinda expected some papers please mechanics to this.

Solid entry!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Glad and relieved you reached the upgrades XD I would've loved to add more but since I added them a few hours before the deadline and could only make 2 upgrade screens, I decided to make them available a bit later on - perhaps too late.

I was really wondering whether to leave the collisions or not. Without them it could be too easy, and with them a bit too overwhelming. I think they're probably a good addition to the game but need something to balance them out, as another person suggested here, such as an AOE attack. I actually planned to add a grenade launcher weapon to deal with the larger chunks of enemies, but ran out of time!

Oh snap, totally forgot to add that to the how to play section. But I added it to the page! Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

Hi! Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback!

There's actually upgrades after wave 8 completion that makes it a bit more interesting, but I totally get the need for more. I planned to add a grenade weapon exactly for this scenario but unfortunately had no time to do that :(

The green bug screen bug is a weird one. I actually stumbled upon it minutes before the deadline so it was too late to debug that. I think I know what causes it though

EDIT:
I believe the green screen is when the game's screen is selected and highlighted in the browser, probably because of holding and moving the mouse - it happened to a friend of mine during testing and he said clicking outside the game's screen solved this issue. I think constraining the mouse to the game's screen will probably solve this bug in a future update.

Hi, thanks for playing!
1. Stuck in the wall - do you mean the player or enemies or both? I did my best to proof this but probably missed some here and there because I was really racing against the clock :O
2. Bullets are supposed to collide with trees :)
3. Map could be bigger, yeah.

Edit: Hi. Not sure what this means? Can you please provide more information? What web browser are you on? I'll try to look into this tomorrow.

Thank you! :D

Thanks! There's actually an effect but it's too subtle 😅 Will definitely address that in a post jam version - I'll probably add a better tutorial section in-game instead of written instructions as well.

I was having fun and enjoyed the soundtrack, then I died and the game started all over again - no checkpoint or anything, just redo everything 😭. Loved the added story elements, the added tutorial and the care for details. The graphics and soundtrack are good! Congrats!

Very interesting concept - gives me Oregon Trail vibes. I would've loved it if it was less ui-intensive and more immersive, for example if I could actually see my party members around the campfire, etc, but it's pretty cool for a jam. I agree with what ZX said -- it was hard to find the right balance.

Totally understandable. Jams are great motivators and once they're over it's sometimes hard to go back, and I can imagine it'll not be an easy task to continue such a huge project. Still, it's very impressive and definitely something to be proud of! I'm sure you all learned a ton in the process as well. Congratulations!

Just to clarify, I don't mind differences in elevation, just don't think it should it be as steep. I think "floors" and some ramps here and there similar to SC2 work great, yeah. Could be similar to Northgard too, but maybe mark the edges somehow so it'll be easier to see the height differences?

Another edit: btw, it would be really cool to see where this is heading!

Interesting concept, loved the inspiration from star craft and I bet you guys main Protoss (like me when I used to play 😁). Also appreciate the super ambitious project for a jam, like, wow, this is insane! Congrats!

I do have some constructive feedback though!

- The game is way too easy. I spam units until I have an insanely large army and just destroy everything in my path!

- The game lagged hard pretty fast once I started expanding.

- It's hard to keep track of your stats and everything with the current ui. Definitely needs to be improved and take less space too!

- For me the game is a hard on the eyes. Would prefer it if the ground was flatter and less colorful and less textured so the things I need to look at pop out. There's a lot going on and it was hard to keep track.

- The music was really cool!

- It was fun seeing the buildings connect to create a network!

Cheers!

Love the visuals, but I have some feedback:

  • Would've appreciated a skip dialogue option.
  • After you press a button the prompt should disappear
  • The press prompt of the button beneath the table at the start was a bit too finicky
  • Should probably have more checkpoints...
  • Would've loved sound effects and a quieter, more ominous soundtrack.. Footsteps and some ambience would make this so much more atmospheric imo
  • Would be cool if there was more light and darkness
  • The movement was a bit too slide-y and the falling a bit too slow and floaty.. I really struggled in the jump puzzle - and appreciated I didn't need to retake that route on the way back.
  • Loved the room with the lights!
  • Gameplay wise I think it's missing more - just walking around and pushing buttons wasn't enough to keep me engaged, although I did manage to finish it. I did enjoy the setting and the story

Absolutely fantastic entry, polished, fun, looks and sounds good and very clever. Well done!

The art is great and the game definitely has juice - I really like the wave title, the ui and the sprite work, and the enemies are cool, and it was a smart move to make a wave based game for a jam.

On the other hand, there's no music or sound effects to amp it up and make it more exciting, and for me, clicking LMB repeatedly is very tiring - could definitely be a hold-to-shot instead.

One thing I noticed is that I believe the character is walking faster diagonally, you could add .normalized() to the input vector to fix that. Also, the character speed could be a bit faster too.

Really good job on your first game!! Congrats

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Yeah the difficulty curve probably needs some adjustments.
