Oh, I might've confused this with another ocean-tile related issue that I already addressed in the Steam version.

In this case, the game will automatically skip your turn if you cannot do anything, although this is not very intuitive because it might require you to make any action even if that action is not necessary, in order for it to trigger.

Yeah, I figured out that I could make it go on by destroying uninfected tiles I would have preferred not to destroy pretty much immediately, but didn't really want to destroy the implicit biodiversity (and potential food sources etc) when it was clearly not necessary.
