Cool idea, I liked the little animated figures in each part of the story.

The story is very engaging and the little illustrations are perfect!
I think this one is my favorite of this jam.
I'm used to dice-as-stats mechanic, but the thing about hitting other dice and changing the value added a little quirk to it, which made the dice-throwing, which I usually feel meh about in videogames, much more interesting.
I was also intriged by the ink limitation to the story telling, but was more annoyed by it than anything else when I ran out of dice and had to gossip with random strangers to finish it.
I tought of doing similar for this jam and then I realized I wouldn’t be able to do it, but you managed to do it with great visuals and story !
If I had one complaint it would be a suicide button : I wasted all of my stats and had no gold, so I couldn’t do anything. Maybe I missed a way to do it ?
Anyways, best entrie of this jam for me !
I like the concept and the execution of this game. Cool mechanics and pretty fun to play as well. This could be a really fun full game type if fleshed out and with more time able to be put into it!
I got stuck as an amazon driven by supreme lust in my quest for the book by smashing head against the forcefield in the library. Congratulations, what an impressive entry on so many levels, incredible work for this time frame. Will play it more in the future in order to solve it. The dice/pool mechanic was pretty cool.
Amazing job!
Very nice gamebook game ;-)
I love gamebooks and the little animations to the left of encounters really added to the atmosphere.
Nice dice mechanics! I just wish the was an automatic throwing since the manual dice throwing isn't among my favorite things to keep when translate physical games in digital ones [I don't have a problem with the dice throwing just the fact you must manualy throw them]
