Thanks. I learned a lot about the state of the world's oceans as part of this jam. I had a much longer and worrying intro written that I did not use. It's scary stuff and I'm certainly looking at the plastic I use day to day now. Did you know that microplastics are now found in 80% of human blood? I hope we fix this mess.
Yep! Even found in the blood and brain tissue of fetuses!!! And it's not chemically inert either! Have you read about pm 2.5 in air pollution? We've got to create change and educational video games that create really feelings around these issues I think are a great idea! I was kinda going for a similar thing but much more abstract with my game. I love your efforts here and I think we need more of this!
I didn't find any mutated fish :(
Literally, one line of code prevented the whole gameplay loop of pollution management, combat with mutated fish, making families, fish dying, even going to other biomes from triggering after the last quest. I just ran out of time to test and had to literally throw it on itch.io in the last minute of the jam. That's Jams for you though. It was great fun making and I learned a lot. I'll fix the bugs afterward and I am sure it will get a few plays :) I'll make damn sure there are lots of mutated fish :)

Relaxing yet powerful game with it's message. The atmosphere is nice and chill and blowing bubbles is fun. Sad you didn't have time to add the main gameplay loop in, but I'm glad you submitted anyway. Awesome job!

Look beautiful , and music is really chill (and is fun also). Only complaint I have is that after some time i ran out of orphan fish to collect so I was just left to wander. Aside from that awesome game.
Yeah, I don't know why but the timer that's supposed to trigger on the last quest to continually spawn fish and pollution does not work. So effectively, the game ends up being just a tutorial for the game that is there but... Oh its so painful to think about how much is there but.. isn't. Just 30 mins more... lol. I love and hate Jams :)

All artwork was done by myself apart from the backgrounds and waste piles and jellyfish which were created in mid journey.
