The gameplay felt really fluid. Loved the artwork and overall atmosphere to the game, with a fair amount of polish. Excellent jam entry.

This is great and fun to play... as others have said, and I feel the need to echo ... very polished feeling. That said, I'm terrible at it. This is why I still rake.

It was really cool! Visually pleasing, and easy to get right into, though I'll admit the camera speed made it tough to anticipate the next jump. I enjoyed the music and the ability to use my own was a nice little treat (platform jumping to Trivium was surprisingly satisfying!) .. are the levels generated based on the music data? Just curious as it seemed different when I loaded different tracks. Great entry and good work!

Really like the art and concept, but the controls felt sort of sluggish, like I was moving through syrup.  Overall, a great jam entry.

Highest, actually ... getting the necklace and earrings means you had at least 100 funds left over. Impressive!

We appreciate it!

Awesome ! I was never sure if anyone ever seen an ending (there's actually multiple gifts depending on how many funds you have at the end)... that said, we have an update that addresses all of those things (X becomes drop, F becomes use, while keeping E as interact, as well as strafing and the difficulty was scaled back)... Play testing is everything, I suppose! Thanks for checking it out and the feedback!

Kiddo is practically villain status at this point ... it's definitely tough and the difficulty has been scaled back in an update we'll post as soon as the jam is over. Thanks for your kind words!

A great game, with nice connections to the theme. Works great and kept me interested the whole time.  Well done!

I enjoyed the game. It was a unique take on rhythm games and the UI was nicely put together. The interactive tutorial was a nice touch and gets you going right away. Good work!

Interesting spin on a golf game. Was easy to pick up and entertaining. I didn't realize what to do after I destroyed the first tank but quickly figured it out  (play golf, dumdum). Maybe a visual/audio indicator to tell me it was golfin' time would be cool ... Great jam entry, I liked it.

We totally agree. We learned a lot from this jam, namely difficulty scaling, and having TPS control with no strafing is a bad idea. Thanks for trying it out, and your valuable feedback!

ALL HAIL DADDIO....Thanks for the kind words and for trying out the game!

haha ya know maybe he should have stopped to watch the TV for a few moments after he switched them on... hindsight being 20/20 and all... thanks for checking it out, we appreciate it!

This was fun ... I wish there was a faster/more intuitive way to select the different units, but I spent a guilty amount of time playing this and you did a good job on it.

Fun and great take on the theme. I like it!

If ya can't beat 'em ... join 'em?... Thanks for checking it out and the feedback!

https://itch.io/jam/go-godot-jam-4/rate/2060810 Thanks!

Yea we decided against it under the guise that "there's nothing to dodge" but can see that was a mistake. We'll definitely know better next time. Thanks for checking it out, and the feedback. Kiddo is grounded until further notice.

Really fun.

Fun and wholesome game with a great message.

Fun game - it's certainly unforgiving!

I struggled with keyboard controls at first, but once I figured it out, it was fun ... when I tried on 10 minutes, after a bit of time, a lot of fish were on screen and it began to lag a lot.

Sorry you had trouble with it. I can't imagine why your camera is inside the character, unless it was colliding with something behind it, but we appreciate you trying it out, and giving feedback.

It seems the controls aren't up to par, but we can't wait to apply this knowledge on the next go around. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for the feedback! We may look at adding strafing directions after judging is over.

Super unique concept and way cool execution. Enjoyed every second of it.

There is indeed a web build... you may have caught it while I was uploading the last update. As far as a Linux build, I doubt I could get it done before the deadline as I'm currently visiting family.

A fun little physics game, and kind developer. Great work.

Appreciate it. I'll have to do some research on that, as I don't have a touchpad to test with, but I'll rack my brain about it.

Aww we're upset kiddo got stuck for you so much .. the physics jitter with the browser version seems to make this happen more often for some. We've opened up the windows version for free if you'd like to download it. Thanks for checking it out, and the video!
