Gorgeous, great music, great message, and rewarding bringing all these orphans together. Nice work, great game!!

I only ever saw 3 or 4 garbage piles, and never a mutant - maybe more come after creating more families? Or I’d already lost? Felt good tho, the ocean was nice and clean.

Skillful combination of visual art, audio and game mechanics to achieve some relaxing, if slightly somber vibes.

I feel like the pollution mechanic should escalate a little faster and should perhaps even reach unmanageable levels, if only to drive home the reality of the current situation in our real life marine ecosystems.

Maybe getting a little heavy for a rating comment, great work! :)

I totally agree.  I'll do some updates after the jam and hope to really escalate the awfulness of the situation.  Dead floating families of fish and such.  The message does not deserve any punches to be pulled I think.  Thanks for the feedback.

The artwork and music are great.
More than that, the movement of every object is amazing, as if it is really alive! I found it fun just to look at the family of fish.

 I love it!!!

Great take on the theme, the motion and atmosphere was spot on. Does the game have an end state? After a while I couldn't find any orphans, garbage or mutant fish.

Great graphic and music, good gameplay

Ordinarily folks say game devs should shy away from water levels, but way to break the cycle! This was a beautiful game, both in message and style. Excellent take on theme and well executed across the board.

Very nice and calming game with an important message. I felt that the movement was a bitt to fast for me to feel fully in controll. But all in all it is a beautiful and well made game. Good job!

Very cleaver theme usage and art-design.

The gameplay is very solid.

Congrats! I really enjoyed!

Beautiful game. Some backgrounds work badly tho, because there is not much of a contrast between the background and the game objects. Catching fishes was hard, but seeing all the families swimming around was really nice. I have stop seeing new fishes after a while and there were some orphans forever stuck with the babysitters. The heavy theme works in a interesting contrast to the relaxing gameplay. Thanks for the game!

The visuals are beautiful although a bit inconsistent, and the music is very pleasant.

Awesome graphics, 100% theme hit, nice idea - I think, it's a 1st place :)

Oh wow.  Thank you so much!

It was a little unclear that you had to hold the mouse button to get rid of the pollution, and once you got rid of all of the patches, it was no longer a problem to manage. The endgame is a little ambiguous as to whether there are orphan fish remaining or not.

But it is gorgeous.

Your art is beautiful! The game pass very good message as well, I just could not find more orphan fish after a while, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong. Also loved the other maps as well, and the music is so good!

I love the message, I love the art style. Alas, I’m really bad at even meeting fishes, they seem to be so much faster than me, making it extremely tricky to bump into them. But maybe that’s just me.

Still, amazing job, I really am into that whole artistic direction you went with there, visuals, sfx and music together!

Thank you so much!

I like very much the game idea and realization! For some reason I wasn't able to do something with the waste. How does it work? Maybe a good itch.io game page would help :-)

Developer

Thanks.  There are bubble-blowing instructions on the opening pages.  Glad you liked it.

Great interpretation of the theme! Though the pollution meter is rising too fast by just 5 piles of plastics and I seemed stuck at the "second stage" when I have 2 groups of blue, red, green fish and 3 groups of yellow fish secured, the music and visuals of the game are nice though!

Visuals are really cool, love the calm sea feeling that come from the game.

I love the art style and great take on the theme!

This was beautiful! The backgrounds and environment were charming, and I really liked listening to the music too. The swimming also felt nice, and it made me feel calm and happy to play :)

Amazing game!

I love the message about pollution, you can really tell that you dug quite deep on the subject!

The visuals of the game are amazing, the beautiful background textures blend really well with the cute little low-poly fish! My only problem is that the stationary interactables (jellyfish and pollution patches) are a little hard to see, because they blend into the background. But fortunately you added little markers for them, so I could still easily tell where they were 👍.

The gameplay and music were nice and relaxing, however, I did not see any pollution patches appear after the tutorial, so I just went around making little fish families. I guess humans figured out a more sustainable way of getting rid of their waste 😆

All in all, great job! This game is fun to play, and has a strong message!
