I loved the concept (and the apparent reference to Severance in the design of the office), but I ultimately got frustrated by the floaty platforming controls and the lack of hotkeys to enable/disable mechanics. I'd love to play more when issues are ironed out!
I love the atmoshpere and the story of the game, as well as the mechanics of using two monitors and unlocking codes to switch powerups!
The platforming parts are a bit too hard in general, and I think the systems would lend themselves more to a classic puzzle game, but it was still rather good! I even managed to beat it in the end!
What a cool entry! I got a little stuck when I totally purposefully discovered how to clip into walls (see attached lol), but conceptually and artistically this was a great jam game! I might suggest a "re-start MMORPG" button for those of us who cause trouble and wind up on the wrong side of the lovely textures you made, but that's my only note :D Thanks for submitting!
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, Jade The Kobold found this exact same bug live (how embarrassing). I forgot to list it, but you can use R to reset to the last checkpoint.
This was an insanely cool concept!! I loved the idea of having to work with the abilities and such to decipher the puzzles. The whole computer desk worker set up was very fun as well. This felt like a real game, similar to the Stanley Parable. I’d love to play a full version of the game in the future!
Spectacular Entry. The visuals are great, the sound design fits well, and the mechanics are really unique and interesting.
Great looking game within a great looking game. I had trouble with the first code because of the font as characters looked too similar ( e.g. 1 and I ). Then I got stuck in the second code because Chrome didn't let me type "@" ( worked with Firefox ). So I think a cleaner font and including only letters would fix a lot of confusion. The gameplay mechanics themselves are really good, but they have very long learning curve ( I did the bouncing puzzle for ages ). I like the concept and the game has a lot of potential. Keep up the good work!
Thanks.
I remember you from the Cosmic Horror jam. Awesome game you made, your #1 spot was definitely deserved. (I made the skating bunny game if you remember).
I was going to change the font because of the 1 looking like an "i", despite the "i" having the little horizontal lines at the top and bottom in this font, but I forgot until the last minutes, and I thought people would figure it out eventually.
I was worried the bounce section was a little too difficult. Some of my team tested it and didn't complain, so I thought it was still ok to leave it as it was. At least it makes this single small level seem a bit bigger, lol.
Cool, I do remember Bunny Lands. I played that the most from the Cosmic Horrors Jam games. Always nice to see familiar developers in other jams.
Really really fun though great design and amazing features!
Thanks, I wanted to polish it a lot more, but ran out of time.
Great game but i think you could improve it alot!
Love what I did for this project took a while and few nights due to the stress I had being almost 4 days late into a team but I did it. Glad everyone enjoys the game. I would be interested into turning into a full game
Looks interesting. Unfortunately it crashed in browser every few seconds after start. I managed to get into the game on the computer (guaranteed inception vibes^^)
Strange, it didn't crash in any computer I tested it on.
This is one of those "Wow... from a jam?" games. There is a lot here and I think its really impressive.
Thank you.
