Awesome idea and cool visual style. The controls take some time to get used to and the power buttons don't give enough feedback about what they do. The character movement feels great though. Well done.

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback.

I like the idea of using WASD and the arrow keys, but they were a bit counterintuitive. 1) On keyboard and mouse, WASD are usually the default movement keys and 2) in a two joystick format the left joystick (usually) is mapped to move while the right is mapped to look around. That being said, I know some left-handed people choose to go with a southpaw config, so having the option to switch between WASD/Move and WASD/Look would be awesome. That way people could pick what's more intuitive to them.

Thank you for that feedback, it's very helpful.

Holy vertigo, Batman! That really tickled my brain in a fun way! More games should have these two joy stick style controls! Very fun! 🥰

3D Parkour descending action platformer!

The concept is great, polish the controls, add more levels, and you have a pretty good game!

Great try, keep on giving!

This was alright. The WASD look controls made a simple idea very difficult. I was a bit frustrated with the choppiness, and the lasers at the end didn't have much of a good indication that you were supposed to stand in the middle.

Retro Style. I liked it, just a little hard to control.

I like the old school 3D feel, but it was a little bit hard to control (I kept wanting to look all around and kept falling ;-)) Congrats for the entry!

Thank you. If you don't mind me asking, do you mean that your instincts were to use wasd to move, so it was confusing when they made you look around?

Submitted(+1)

Exactly, I think it's because most of games use the mouse to look...

The controls were very unintuitive, but they did provide me a certain sense of nostalgic fun from the time before we had modern pc and controller control schemes. I enjoyed the quite retro style flat color polygon graphics. it was challenging, but at times not in a way that felt fair to the player, but the controls add to the detriment there somewhat. A very fun concept that could really shine with an update to the controls and some environmental polish.

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback. I don't want to waste your time, but off the top of your head, are there any games you can recommend I look at which improve the controls for this type of game? Are you suggesting I use the mouse?

Submitted(+1)

I think mouse look with wasd for movement would be much more inline with most modern control schemes, yes. I haven't done any 3d yet so I imagine there are lots of challenges involved. I think the game would still be very challenging even with easier to use controls. I do mean challenging in a good way though. It reminds me of the final levels of platformers where its testing all of the skills you've built up.

Thank you

I have a very hard time using the controls provided. It was not very intuitive.
