good game, congratulations for your work. I found it creative and fun, although I found it hard to win lol

if you have time, check out my game

So definitely a very interesting and unique concept, that made it actually enjoying to learn how to play. I don't think a full tutorial is necessary with the info in the description, but of course that's up to you. I would love to see a more polished version of this game later with more enemies and maybe a more intricate combat system besides just rolling dice, but the theme was masterfully incorporated into this game. Great job!

Wow, thank you very much for trying the game and for the kind words! You made my day :) We've got plans for adding variety in the future, as well as themes for levels!

Thank you very much for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Great concept and execution. The design is quite complex but really fun to play with once you understand it. It is incredible the amount of work that is put into this. Awesome work!

Thank you so much for trying the game and for your kind words! :)

That's soo cool. At first i had no idea what i was doing but fortunately i read your tutorial and I love it.
The artwork is cool, the soundtrack is awesome to listen while playing.
It has so much potential to be a really good rougelike game. Tbh you could even make a mobile game from that.

However i have one thing you could improve. The visibility of what's going on. Maybe you could split the scene between fighting and navigating/chosing who will fight. Also maybe largen the dice on the map when rolling for movement because i had no idea that that little dice was even changing at first xD but maybe that's just me (or lack of animation).

Overall Good job! It's so addicting. Keep up a good work! :D

Thanks so much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Definitely going to give it some serious polish on the UX part since it really isnt giving any info on whats happening in game. Your feedback is incredibly useful so thank you for taking the time to give some notes!

Lots of creativity and original design ideas on display! This could be the start of something really interesting with a bit more time to polish, bugfix and tutorialize.

As a bit of a bug report, I hit a point where a fight started and neither side seemed able to deal damage to one another. I'm not sure why that is, but I did notice too late that both of my characters had an elemental disadvantage against the enemy, so that may have something to do with it.

Hey, thank you very much for giving it a try, I greatly enjoyed your game :)! I really appreciate the feedback, and that bug in particular is noted! We unfortunately found it after the submission closed but that's how these go lol. It happens when 2 healers are out, and the net damage never exceeds the net health gain so combat just continues...forever! Thank you for the attention to detail, and if you found/find anything else of note I'm more than happy to receive any feedback!

Nice game, the game is simple but effective. My only advice would be to make the UI better! It would make a large change!

BEST OF LUCK:)

P.S. Check out our game too.

Thanks so much for taking the time to try it! UI and information displaying is the first upgrade after the jam :)

Wow thats neat. I just wish that the presentation was better. Good job bud ;)

Thank you very much for trying it out!  You bet the first thing being worked on post-jam is clarifty in UX/UI :)

A very fun little card game. I only have a few comments. It is very unclear how much damage everything does, and how much health things have. Also, the attack animation is so fast/non-existing, that it is difficult to figure out why you took damage, or what is really going on.

Also, good on you for actually including a way to quit the application!

Thank you for giving it a try and for the great feedback! Once the jam is over clarity with UI/UX is going to be at the top of the list :)

Great work!!! I had a lot of fun on this, I'm really impressed how deep this went for a 48 hour jam! I loved how snappy everything felt and the animations were extremely smooth.

Thanks so much! One hill I was willing to die on was putting snappy card movements so I'm very glad you liked them :)

Great job, this was a really unique way to do combat

Thanks for trying it out, I appreciate it! :)

I really like the card animations. The game is great but i think it could be improved by adding some indicators of what happens ( like telling if an attack is super effective )

Thank you for playing and for the great feedback! Those suggestions are great :)

I played a few rounds.  I think what was there was quite interesting and with better player teaching this could be a lot of fun.  Though I don't know if I ultimately figured out how I could win the game.  I just played until I was defeated.

Thanks for playing and for sticking with it! I will be adding a tutorial first thing after the jam and look forward to giving it some serious polish in UX :)

Thank you for taking the time and for giving feedback! I really appreciate it. Definitely adding a tutorial first thing after the jam with some UI/UX :)

Love the music and art. The concept of the game seems cool. Was just hard to understand some parts.

Thank you for playing! First thing going into the game after the jam is a tutorial :) All feedback is welcome!

I'll check back in for sure

The animations and overall graphic design are really pretty, I just wish the objective of the game was more clear, and how the card work

(+1)

Thanks for giving it a play! Unfortunately didn't have time to but a how-to in the game before submissions closed but I tried to put most of those details in the description. Thanks for the feedback! Once the jam is over my first objective is improving UI/UX!

Submitted(+1)

Took a little bit for me to get how it works, but I like the main concept! The graphics are really cute for the dice monsters.

Thanks for giving it a try! Looking forward to adding an in-game tutorial and some polish after the jam :)

Submitted(+1)

Very nice game! Could use a bit of polish but for a jam I really liked it :) GJ!

Thanks so much for playing!

I like the concept/mechanics and the art.  I feel like it could use a description of what all the powers are.

Thanks a bunch for checking it out! Sadly UI and tutorial couldn't make it in. I tried to put those details in the page description :)

This game is interesting and a great take on the theme. I haven't been able to make it to the boss monster yet but I will keep trying till the cards are in my favour. Great game!

Thank you for playing it! May the odds be in your favor!
