Good dialogue, art style and atmosphere. Also very creative, first russian roulette games and it makes me think this is a great idea I have not seen in the jam. Lots of actual standard dices though.
Easily the best russian roulette game i've played, more depth here than i realised. Great art and music too!
Great art, amazing music, and a very, very clever way to build up tension and create an engaging game with such simple mechanics. Great job!
Visuals were great and I loved the music. It's so nice to see funny dialog in a game jam.
Thanks for playing! Especially glad you enjoyed the dialog - that was a little something extra, along with the music and art, that we wanted to focus on to enhance the underlying gameplay.
Dude that's so cool, I love the voice acting, story telling, the music, the artwork everything. The gameplay is really cool and creative, every round is nerve racking. Also russian roulette versus a baby? Hell yeah! Good job!
So glad you enjoyed it! We were lucky to have a lot of incredibly talented team members to put it together - and keep an eye out, we're playing with ideas to expand the game in the future!
Music was hilarious and the art was great! Gameplay was fresh and unique but the frequent gun jamming dropped the tension a bit, but overall a very solid game!
Thanks for the feedback; I'm really glad you enjoyed the music! As the creator of all the tunes I was going for some real unhinged Elvis-era 'Las Vegas' vibes along with some more traditional 'Big Band sounds'. It was my first time working within the Genre so I certainly learned a lot and had a ton of fun with it.
Our team had a blast developing this one and took a big step forward from our submission last year. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed it, and always appreciate the gameplay feedback <3
Cool game idea and art style. The music is unusual, but really adds to the overall atmosphere of the game. Was a bit confused at first, what button does what, but can find out quickly in the first round. It would be nice, if the actions were shown disabled, while you can't do anything. I ended up clicking them, when it was not my turn. And I had the feeling, I had to click them twice some times, even if it was my turn. Overall a fun game with unique aesthetics.
Unusual is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
Hehehe I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it as a whole. The music I made drew from a lot of different inspirations including 1970s Las Vegas big band jazz and Elvis. The track "Boom," which is my personal favorite, drew heavily from Milt Buckner's "Green Onions," John Lee Hooker's, "Boom Boom," and Elvis Presley's, "Hound Dog." I really had it go off the rails towards the end of the track because you can't have Las Vegas without some CRAZY!
We really appreciate the gameplay feedback and are so glad you enjoyed the game! We hope to take another step forward as a team in next years GMTK jam :)
Man, my first thought was "This seems way too confusing, there's no way I'm gonna enjoy this" but I quickly got really into it! It's a great blend of strategy and luck (and short-term memory, which is my weakest ability), and I'll admit I felt my heart pounding during the third fight! I didn't beat the guy, he really seemed like he was very capable of countering my moves while still being beatable. I'll come back for him. Lastly, the art style is very charming, both the characters, backgrounds and UI, and the music is very funny and both a good contrast and complement to the gameplay. Great work!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the game! We're very pleased with how the whole project wrapped up, and could be happier from the feedback and support we've gotten from the GMTK community :)
Next time you play I hope you walk away victorious with the Egg! Well,.. the "Gegg"
Everything about this game was amazing! It took me a minute to fully understand what was going on, but once I figured it out I had a blast! The art, the music, the gameplay, it was all so good. Definitely my favorite game from the jam so far.
Yeah, we'd have hoped to have a more comprehensive tutorial since it can be kinda confusing and abrupt, but time got the better of us--maybe after voting's over we might update that 0_0
Thanks for taking the time to figure it out, though!

I like the artstyle and the music! The gameplay was a bit confusing, I ended up going back and forth shooting blanks for a really long time, unsure how to get my opponent to actually die. But otherwise I really like the art style and the neon flair. So sick and unique
Abbi, our resident artist, did an incredible job on the graphics! Each new asset that would pop up in our discord left every other team member's jaw on the floor! If you'd like to see more of her work you can view her portfolio on her website (spoiler warning - it's really good): https://www.agurdinillustration.com/
On another note, I'm so glad you enjoyed the music! It was my first time working within the Genre and I learned a lot regarding creating "Vegas-y" sounds and a casino atmosphere through my tunes.
We really appreciate your gameplay feedback and are so happy to hear you enjoyed the game <3
Fun Fact: The "Egg" song that plays during the final boss was created in about 30 minutes before deadline, and I'm so glad we got it in! The vocals for the track were done in 1 take; our project manager, Jakob, walked in to the recording room while Miño (one of our devs) and I were sitting on the floor with a microphone between us recording it like the gremlins we are! We all collectively lost it hehehe.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m happy to hear you enjoyed it. There are certainly some areas we’d want to improve upon, but we’re pretty happy with how our first unity game turned out (shout out to our dev team because I’m a hopeless programmer)!
Easter Egg: Jungle Cat is a featured vocalist in one of the songs… well, “meowcalist.” If you listen just close enough you may pick up one of her dulcet meows!
Tutorializing better is def something we want to work on moving forward - especially since luck is such a big part of whether you get a shot in early. Glad you enjoyed the music tho - our composer is mondo talented.
Pretty cool! I got the egg Yeeeee! Liked the artstyle and the music
How did the egg taste? Hehehe.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Making the music was a blast and I’m so happy to hear it was a highlight for you!
