I think that the idea that went into this game was a neat idea, that probably needs a lot of testing and revamping to make a super fun game. The current game has some playability problems, like the player easily slightly clipping into the blocks, and seemingly triggering the wrong effects a lot. The idea of spinning the world, and each side having a different property is a really nice one in my opinion, and I feel like with the re-working, this game could be really good!
Interesting idea
Intersting concept , with a bit of polish could be something cool.
Cool concept modified gravity
Nice idea for a "roll" part of the jam name!
Although getting the die stuck ain't that fun :(
The physics are charmingly wonky. Love the idea of flipping the world, but it being semi-random doesn't have much of a point. Oh well, it fits the theme in that sense.
good stuff.
Thanks for playing!
Pretty fun, but I got the die stuck in the wall
Oops 😕 I probably should have included a level restarter for that.
Thanks for playing!
Hey nice game and I really liked the concept!! Took me a few seconds but after I finally kicked the little die I was like "ohhhh!" Then I realized what I had to do.
Was able to beat it! I guess one thought is I'm not sure how much the different surfaces really mattered? I know the rubber was bouncy, but the grass felt kinda slippery like ice, and I don't think I ever landed on the honey? Still was really neat though and could definitely see it being expanded into different ways!
The one suggestion is maybe to make either the level show everything or at least point to the door direction. I wasn't sure where to go so I was just falling everywhere till I found it! The levels were pretty small so wasn't bad, but I was worried there would be a massive level and I'd have no idea where to go!
Overall very good though! I enjoyed the dice character as well!
Yeah the physics for the different surfaces ended up a little buggy and definitely could have been utilized more to better explore the idea.
I also realise the viewport is a bit small but underestimated how disorienting it could be for the player - so thanks for the suggestion.
