How does your game fit the theme?
Metaphorically, there's an element of risk versus reward when it comes to deciding whether you want to add more power to your armaments, or if you want to make the enemies tougher to boost your score faster. Literally, there are also visible dice that are rolled as part of enemy spawns and weapon attack.

I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was playing, I absolutely love this mechanic. I especially liked the massive spike in difficulty after winning in sort of a new game + fashion, nothing like spawning in and having 10+ towers aiming at you

I do wish there was music, and the laser seems to be missing sfx (might just be too quite with everything going on also) but that's really it in terms of critiques from me. Great game!

I didn't really get what was happening for a good while, but it's really fun. It's quite satisfying to beat up the enemies too. I guess the only thing I can suggest would be to make it a bit easier to understand. Good game!

This was really fun and the progression system was very interesting!

The game was really fun. I took me a bit to figure out but the gameplay is fun. Solid controls, great sound design, and some very nice pixel art.

This was really fun to play! I think the sound effects really sell it. I was a bit confused at first, but once I understood it was a lot of fun. Great job!

The game is very good!
The use of theme is but questionable to me, but it does fit.
I gues my compaint is that the gameplay isnt that interesting idea-vise. You just fly backwards and shoot at whatever. But the way it feels is.. just awesome. The speed, the sound, the look. All feels just amazing.
Also it wasnt clear even after reading the decription what is going on. On the second try I easily beat it. And it was very fun :)

Good stuff

Loved the art style!

I didn’t read the tutorial on the page at first, so I was really confused… then I saw the detailed instructions, and it made everything much clearer. I think you can still but a bit of text to make it more appealing :)

Nevertheless, great take on the theme and the game mechanic is fun and addictive.

This was a lot of fun. I didn't understand the scoring system the first time through, so I ended up with a really overpowered build and barely any score. Second time I tried to go as lean of a build as possible to get a good score and got decimated. It's really interesting of a game, but it's not really my kind of genre, so I don't feel like I can do it justice. I think the game needs some sort of tutorial, as just having a wall of text on the itch page is kind of annoying, and lead to a lot of my initial confusion. I'm also not sure how much having the weapons be so RNG-heavy really changes the game, and I think the idea might have worked better with less RNG there (like how the score and health increases apparently aren't affected by a virtual dice roll). Overall, I thought it was really good, and I certainly enjoyed the art style of the game.

This was a really creative take on the theme!  It was fun weighing the trade offs of taking larger dice for your ship vs. managing the number of enemies on the board.  I wish I had eliminated more of my smaller dice when I had the chance haha!

The controls feel really responsive and smooth.  I appreciated how maneuverable the ship was when gunning enemies, and the strong attacks like the blue lazers felt really satisfying.

Overall, this was really fun!  Amazing job on this game!

Nice hectic game. First took some time to understand the upgrade system and how it affected game. (Big numbers usually mean good thing, but not now) Static and unusually quick enemies made thing chaotic in fun way, especially as I left couple d10s on pool.  Possibility to mount so many weapons and to upgrade made shooting quite satisfying .

Great job! :)

This is a masterpiece considering the 48h limit. Good job!

Nice to have a risk reward game.

You already know it's missing the tutorial in game, and some ui improvement, but it's a nice game with refreshing mechanics, well done!

This game is really fun! The mechanics are quite easy to pick up after a while, the risk-reward factor for the score is a nice touch!
