Dice are the main weapon in this game. They play a big "role" (geddit?) in the dino-verse where this takes place. There's also a spinning dice on the titlescreen for an added bonus :D

I mean, who doesn't love the classic bomb-your-friends gameplay. Very well executed, and I'm also glad to finally see someone spreading the truth about the extinction of the dinosaurs. Love the art and music, too.
Would love to see a little bit of randomness introduced to compliment the use of dice, and also had some luck to the gameplay so it's not just a competition of who is a more skilled player (maybe explosion-length is random up to the value of the die?)

Aaaw, those dinos are cute! And I love that each of them has their own unique sprite and it's not just a recoloring.
Unfortunately my girlfriend tended to blow herself up so I was denied the enjoyment of killing her myself. Still, my impression is that the powerup density maybe should be a bit higher, at least in 2 player mode. At the moment it just seems a bit hard to deliberately kill another player. Also, maybe the fuse timer is a bit long? It felt like often, I was just standing around, waiting for something to happen.
Small nitpick: If you've placed a die and collect the bonus die powerup afterwards, you don't get to place the second die until the first one exploded.
Still, this is a very promising start and I do think with a bit of balancing, this could turn into a pretty fun party game!
Thank you so much for the feedback :D Yeah, the code for how many dice you have left is a little hacky, I couldn't get it to work properly before the jam ended. I'm going to keep working on the game, though. Maybe even add an easy mode where your bombs only blow up other players, not you :P

Super cute, love the pixel art! I would have liked to see the gameplay iterate a bit more beyond the classic Bomberman formula, but impressive none the less!
Thank you very much! I did have a bit of time left over at the end, but I wanted to spend it making the submission page look really good. Some people just used the default itch.io theme. Not saying that's not okay, but I just wanted to make sure my game stood out from the crowd, so I spent some extra time doing that :D In the future, I'll keep working on it, adding new tiles, cosmetics, gamemodes, etc. Glad you enjoyed it though :)

Dino Art!! For the Win. Love it. Bomberman is always a fun time. You guys did great on the art and gameplay. Really Enjoyed my time here. Theme was a little there but didnt feel like there was any randomness. (I could have misunderstood.) still great job. Keep it up! would love to hear what you think of our little game.
Of course I can check out your game :D As for randomness, the only random things are the map generation and when and where powerups spawn. But hey, the theme didn't say anything had to be random :P Thank you for the positive feedback!
