Absolutely love the art and environment, and the concept is really really cool. Sadly, I can't seem to engage with the first combat encounter. Whenever I drag a dice somewhere, it often just seems to disappear.

Thank you for your feedback! We really messed up with time for our first game Jam, so all of the bugs arose from that. We've already fixed them, but currently we can't upload it ><

I like the system, it's a huge shame the bugs make it unplayable. Visually it's splendid!
I think it would be interesting if you weren't able to change what sides the dice are facing, the dice were randomised and had different effects. Currently, it only makes sense to put three dice in the effects column and one in the row (as far as I understand the rules). Something more complex could spicy it up!
I would recommend focusing on the core gameplay first next time around, but congrats on joining the jam nonetheless!

Heyo! The amount of dice effects should have been equal to 6 (edit. In full version), so you could make different variations and act differently from different situations. The right side's effect is just a dice roll - you can't predetermine it. 


But... Yeah, we messed up a little because of lack of time. Hopelite already fixed a few major bugs in an unloaded build though, so the game will be complete even after the time runs out, yeah!

Incredible art and environments, I love that the player can inspect objects around the scene. I couldn't figure out how to play the fight sequences and didn't understand the instructions below, so I think an in-game tutorial would do wonders for this!

The art and just general presentation are straight up AMAZING but unfortunately, as others have mentioned, I couldn't figure out how to play - even when reading the comments from the devs in a comment further down. My dice just kept disappearing off my little board :(

I absolutely love all the little bits of dialogue and the game is absolutely gorgeous!!! Really awesome hand-drawn outlined style love it!! Gameplay was admittedly quite confusing but everything else was absolutely on lock for such a short time period!

Hello there! The rolls work only during the first battle at the hallway. Sadly, because of the bug (that WILL be fixed one day), the input system doesn't work in other fights...

The combat system works like that:
- You can put dice either on the left or on the right part of the deck.
- The left part is responsible for so-called "effects" - the drawing on the dice defines this effects (either dealing damage or healing in this demo)
- The right part is for modifiers. Adding dice there next to the effects dice will result them to roll when you press R. If the drawing on the die matches the drawing on the effect - it becomes stronger.

This is so sad! I really enjoy the concept, the universe and the art (especially the hot mom ^^, lol). Hope you get around that bug, it's such a pity!
