How does your game fit the theme?
Blot Fugitive is built entirely around the idea of a time loop. Each time the player resets (either by dying or pressing the "Loop" button), a ghost of their past run remains — replaying their exact actions. These "ink ghosts" become essential tools for solving puzzles, activating switches, and overcoming challenges that would be impossible alone. The loop isn't just a story element — it's the core mechanic. You must plan ahead and cooperate with your past selves to escape the cycle. The more you loop, the more allies you leave behind.

Your description sounds very cool, unfortunately the game visuals hurt my head - I’d love to be able to dive more into something like this but the constant spinning and the graphics were just too much for me

Creative approach on making a looping 2d platformer. I like the visuals

Submitted(+1)

Well, that is a way how to make a platformer difficult, haha! Cool concept!

At first I thought my head was doing the loop so fantastic job, interacting with yourself was a really great idea.

Love the bizarre visuals. I wish I were able to figure out what it was I was trying to do, felt like I was able to push some buttons but not others. The aesthetic was cool!

This is the trippiest game I've seen so far. I don't know why, but I just keep looking at it with fascination, the art is pretty unique. Well done!

i was not able to do much maybe i did not understand but my clones where not able to do much. they did not press buttons is that a bug? crazy atmosphere tho i enjoyed that

The idea of unlocking some things by dying through ghosts is very smart!! But as someone who is directionally challenged, I had quite a lot of trouble navigating through the game lol. kept pressing the wrong directions

Great concept! The looping links are cool, and the rotating camera is a really nice touch that fits well with the theme and creates a very unique experience. Nice work!

Really cool atmosphere. I like the difficulty!

Really disturbing in a good way. The camera rotation was a bit hard to wrap my head around at first but it does fit with the general look of the game.

this is disturbingly great

I found the spinning too much for me while playing, but this is undoubtedly a cool concept. I dig the weird vibes!

A bit too literal interpretation of loop with the spinnig camera in my taste ;), but the art was intruiging

Submitted(+1)

This game was wild. Definitely has some potential. Would be kinda crazy if the gravity adjusted as well. Good work!

Developer

Thanks! That was actually my original plan, but after changing the collisions, my player couldn’t align properly—or maybe I just messed up the code. I spent all of Friday trying to fix it, but in the end I just commented it out. Maybe I’ll revisit the idea in future levels

this felt like the central design pitch was "what if we made a Super-Meatboy-like game, but as though you were playing it during an active bout of psychosis?"

What an unsettling (and memorable) platformer

Submitted(+1)

Oh my god you game is so terrifying lol. The ambiance is so good, i love it, especially the background

Submitted(+1)

Very good vibe and interesting mechanics! I think it could be nice to be able to toggle the camera, since it became a little disorienting.

Submitted(+1)

OMG! It's so trippy, so cool!

Submitted(+1)

Very unique and creative. The camera effect is a nice touch.

so trippy, impressive to make something so aesthetically cohesive in this time
