How does your game fit the theme?
I interpreted "Loop" as used in music-making software. You compose a little loop of music, then use the notes as platforms to reach the end of the level.

Amazing concept, the dynamic music works really well and makes it very juicy. One of my favourites games so far, great job!
Thank you!!!
Like others, saw Mark Brown playing it on stream. Love it! The music is amazing, the mechanic is original, it looks brilliant, can't get enough. Well done!
Aw thank you so much!! Happy you enjoyed it!
Very cool idea and very enjoyable! I really look forward to what this develops into if you decide to expand on this!
thank you for the kind words!! im definitely doing a small update after the jam - might add a bit more after that too.
OMG This is soooo cool. Really amazing idea. Had so fun with it.
Also it would be my honor if you take a look on my game too and leave a feedback <3
thank you! I checked yours out too!
awesome idea! The way the Level Design affects your songs is really cool! Great entry :)
thank you!! i love your profile gif too, i have that lil cutie as a discord emote too hehehe
Really cool idea. I like that you not only are left with a win screen but also a song that bops.
hehehe thank you! i think i liked that last song the best out of all of them so i wanted it to sit for a bit.
That was an amazing game! Really cool concept.
Great work!
thank you for playing!!
Such a cool concept.
I do wish there was an ability to undo note placements, even if limited.
Can see lots of potential with some of the later mechanics that get introduced too.
Loved it.
thank you!! i tried to be quite generous with how a note "sticks" to the lines to avoid those little tedious moments but i can definitely see that it's not perfect. hopefully the music was good enough you didnt mind waiting another measure 😈😈
great!
hell yeah
Wow! What a slapper!
Such good songs :D
I really like your way of making puzzles, the game was really smart and enjoyable. :D
Ahhh thank you!!
I like the visual design and sound design of this game. One addition I'd like to have in this game is Coyote Time, as jumping off platforms feels frustrating without it
Hahah yeah i absolutely agree. I'm probably going to add some little changes like that after the jam. Thank you for playing!!
Really interesting idea and a great execution of that idea. I'm loving the audio design this Jam, and this is especially top notch!
I think this could do really well as a full release.
If you do go for a full release, I think some very lenient coyote time could take the pressure off the trickier jumps. Also some way to compare against other players like a histogram for how much fuel you used verses the average would be really neat.
Great Job!
thank you!! yeah the player hit box is a little misleading for jumping off the edge of a platform haha, I guess I just got used to it and didn't realize it would be an issue. i dont know if ill do a full release but i definitely want to clean it up a bit and maybe add a few more levels and a score system of some kind.
i really loved your game too!!
Crazy good concept and really fun to play!
It's very interesting how the game encourages you to make shitty sound before trying to resolve the levels haha.
Nice job!
This game was super fun :D
It's a very cool concept and it is done well. The addition of the spike balls and the no music zones were added at good points, as I settled into a static solution of right before they were introduced, even though climbing with the note blocks was definitely far a consistent pattern.
Sometimes waiting for the music player to come back around if you missed the note by one tile was annoying, but it wasn't that big of an issue due to how short the levels and game was overall, some sort of reward for completing the levels as fast as possible or with as few music meter used up as possible would be a great addition imo, as it would hopefully reward players that play in a more risky and fast passed way, and would give more replay value.
Excellent game, good luck in the jam :)
thank you!! im definitely considering some little additions for after the jam and something like a speedrun timer or score would be really doable.
This was really fun and reminded me a bit of when I used to make crappy music in bosca ceoil haha. I was really happy when I got to another stage and there was another beat in the background. I think some levels were hard in the aspect of being conservative with your music energy/ammo but other felt much more platform heavy and I had tons of energy at the end. Could have been intentional but I would like it more if all levels really required you to think ahead and not use too much sound.
I am not sure if it was a bug and I noticed it first at the end but even though you had no energy left you could create small notes. This would be helpful for me, I just restarted when I was out of energy.
Instead of a note dissapearing when it touches into another, maybe it should merge? When placing a note it usually moved a bit (I guess to snap to a specific size), this could make it hard to place notes next to each others if you had made a note too small before. I noticed however that if you lose a note because it dissapear the energy comes back so I guess you could just try again and again.
It would be interesting to see how the game would play out if you only had a certain amount of loops to play the notes. Like you had to plan out the map quickly and think of every “sweep” to place. Like let’s say you only had three sweeps/loops to place notes. Might be too hard :D
Here are some pictures of me being stupid! image.png

And here is my masterpiece:
Amazing shout on that bug - I know exactly why that's happening and I just forgot to account for that. Your screenshot of the end screen cracked me up.
Good ideas on the ammo/fuel too - I did want to explore that a bit, and maybe tweak the max fuel per level but I ran out of time. Merging is also a fun idea!
Thank you for playing and for this feedback! I'm happy you got to the end!
AWESOME! I was sometimes stuck between a block and a wall, unable to do anything, but it was fun! One of the best games I've played so far. Excellent job!
Thank you so much! Yeah I wasn't sure of a great way to handle getting stuck like that but resetting with ESC worked well enough. Thanks for playing!!

Short and sweet! The web version did have some sync issues but nothing game breaking. I would personally like a more immediate use when placing the notes instead of first planning the route and then executing it but to each their own. I made a banger melody on the last level which went great with the excellent beat.
Hehehe thank you!! I had plans to weave the platforming and composing a bit more but as is typical with game jams you have to cut a LOT of ideas out as time ticks down haha. I liked this idea a lot though so I may add a bit more after the jam.
BEST GAME I'VE PLAYED SO FAR.
hehehehehe thank you!!
I actually found another cool game which is very similar.- https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3773671#post-13617682
Thanks I just played that one and it was great!
Oh yeah this was fun. I can really see how the level design can make the user make some cool tunes without them even realising. Great stuff
thank you!! I really wanted players to find at least one level where they pause at the flag to enjoy their music for a moment.
