Wow, I'm glad I checked your game out in time - very cool visual use of the loop theme! I also loved the dithering shader, wish I could've figured out something similar for my game. The atmosphere and puzzle design has been great so far (I temporarily put it down on floor 6 to get to the last few games I wanted to check out).
I was going to ask if there was any significant to the art of a Macuahuitl at the end of the hallway until I realized it was just the hallway floor plan, haha. Also props for including a solution guide with hints if anyone gets stuck but doesn't want the answer laid out. Great submission, Thomas!
Super cool and polished art style, amazing work! One of the best artwork I have seen so far! Well made 👏
Wow! What an amazing game!
I really really really LOVED this art style!
Such an unique idea, smart and creative puzzles.
I really like the worldbuilding and the environment your created!
Such an incredible job! Well done! :D
Very good. I spent about 20 minutes playing. Brute forced the third floor as I couldn't figure it out, but tried again and I can see it now.
Its sooo cool ! I really love the artstyle ! love the concept ! Its a very fun game :) Nice job
This was so fun, the puzzles were just right in difficulty for a quick game. Even though there was no music the mood was spooky. The game feels super polished and I really liked the dither shader treatment, even though the constant scrolling with the walk speed did hurt my eyes a bit by the end. I really enjoyed this game!
Really, really great game, one of best I've seen so far in this Jam.
Puzzles were very good, not to hard, but not too easy either.
Nice job.
I completed it! (so smart)
Really like games that make you think, the walking on wood sound is a bit repetitive, loved the shader!
I noticed that in the upside down level, the lights seem to ghost, from far away you see them but not when coming closer. Anyway, I got it! Really clever ;)
Edit: Now replaying it, for a future version of the game, it would be cool if the doors and puzzles were random.
I loved it!
A great experience, the puzzles are challenging enough but do-able (but thank you for the guide, I got on what the number meant on floor 6)
The aesthetic is amazing, the atmosphere, the slight creepiness. Just a beautiful polished game, I am so impressed! What a gem!
Incredible Game !
The artstyle reminded me Return of the Obra Dinn and was very well executed, and the puzzles were very enjoyable !
I liked the little details scattered through the game (the mirror was cool to interact with, and i liked that in the last chamber you could return to the reception)
The walking sound on wood kinda drove me crazy a bit xD
Very nice job !
Thanks! The shader uses the same technique as the one from Obra Dinn! (With a different texture and color palette though, to achieve a different look, but the underlying technology is still the same.)
Really nice visual appearance and concept.
I used the guide because if I failed a puzzle then I would have had to go through the whole game again to try another solution.
The last room could have had more of a reward for beating the game like some music possibly or a reveal about why we're in the hotel.

Really beautiful game! love the look and feel of it and the puzzles are really great! I was honestly worried and expecting a jumpscare at the end!
The art and audio make it feel really polished! I also quite like the filter you have for the camera!
Super fun (and the right amount of challenging in my opinion). The atmosphere really really works, I love the art direction especially, and the subtle sounds really help buil a lonely and unsettling feeling.
You guys can be really proud !
Thank you so much!
art tone in this game is so consistency and puzzle so nice.
If possible, can you please rate my game and leave a comment too.
Thanks! Just played and commented yours!
I loved this game, it has also great art and I really liked the puzzles. Great job! I also didnt get the dark room solution but I managed to open the correct one by luck hahaha
Thx! There's a written guide in case you want the solution! https://thomas-bringer.itch.io/noir-hotel/devlog/1002045/noir-hotel-guide
So cool!!!, I actually managed to get to the 9th floor, so I will check the guide to know the answer for the dark room hahaha thanks!, Could you also give feedback of our game if you have time? :D
Sure!
Thanks a lot! :)
Unfortunately, the game won't start for me, but the graphics look good. Detective games are my favorite kind.
Oops, i don't know what's happening, sorry!
I love your art
The best game I've played so far. I love these types of games. Maybe I wished there was a scare somewhere and maybe the ending could have been cooler, but other than that it was so good! Very clever design especially for a jam game cause you could just copy the same template and change some little thing to create a new puzzle and it remains exciting for the player. Very clever game and great art direction.
