Thank you !!! The inspiration for the art was medieval tapestries and illustrations (I didn't quite manage to include every reference I had in mind due to time constraints, but for example you can see the unicorn in it's enclosure which is in reference to this piece of art history called "the Hunt of the Unicorn Tapestries" :

The Unicorn Rests in a Garden - Final piece of "The Unicorn Tapestries", Netherlands, circa 1500, Current ownership : MOMA

And there's lots of reference to medieval art in other places too (the sun and moon, the way the cat is drawn, the amount of details, types of buildings... Even the fact our main character is a little rabbit chimera is reminiscent of medieval manuscripts :)) (yes I am a huge nerd)

As for the gameplay, we wanted to make sure every mechanic we offered was well polished. Clemicle spent a lot of time making sure everything worked smoothly (he's the one to thank for the entire code, the physics on the jumps, but also for the general level design and concept as a whole). We do love that the game is slower paced, we wanted the universe to make sense - and I think we did manage to do just that ! If it wasn't for Clemicle I would never have dreamed of applying my art to a Möbius strip !

The map explains it a bit better, an we wish we could've built in more puzzles but time was of the essence - maybe we'll pick the project up again sometimes and build upon what we have now !!

Thank you !!

Beautiful art style and music !! I love that we're left to discover/guess what each rune does

Maybe a short tutorial would be needed to understand that the loop can be modified ? Ii took me a few deaths to figure it out

The rules adding up fast are really a great mechanic ! I didn't know pressing arrows could get that intense.

I really, really wanted to finish it - and I did ! Great job !

Its quite a feat retaining the players attention and making them want to put in the effort/time to test the entire game during a jam.

I feel sort of bad for the Jerrys though, I've put them through so much, threw so many bodies into the abyss...

I got so scared by the first hallucination T.T Great work ! I can't believe you made this using GDevelopp ! Guess I still have a lot to learn when it comes to making games using it :)

(quick question though, were the texture glitches when going to bed an intended feature ? Either way I think they really work in the context of hallucinations !)

Super fun (and the right amount of challenging in my opinion). The atmosphere really really works, I love the art direction especially, and the subtle sounds really help buil a lonely and unsettling feeling.

You guys can be really proud !

With how hard I tried to tie my shoes, dad better come back with more than the handheld ! After all he too had 12 years to plan accordingly

The idea is super nice !! I loved feeding the little guys :) congratulations on the different wordplays btw, it was a nice touch !

If I may give some feedback, I think it would be nice to know when the cats are about to leave the table ? With a timer, or how many more plates they'll accept, etc.

Great Idea ! I would have liked to have a minimap or some sort of indication of how high I am while climbing to increase the pressure for the player to not fail

A very fun game ! I really wanted to try more types of wagons at the end - which says a lot ! great job :)

I really liked that game, the chess theme was nice (and the elephants really surprised me)

The start was a little easy, but still enjoyable - only issue I had was that some enemies got stuch in the entrance of the room sometimes, and i couldn't quite reach them :/

Cool game ! Only issue for me was that the text was a little small at times, which made reading tedious. Appart from that, I really enjoyed it !

5 stars everywhere ! This is so clever, well put together and sweet ! The ending especially was super clever and it made me feel all the feels. The game is short but I feel like it says and does everything it needs to, I'm in awe

That was beautiful !! Thank you for making this game, the ending was perfect in my opinion

I really like the black and white pixel art and the music ! One thing though, I would have prefered to have a zoom in/zoom out feature on the camera, I think it would elevate the concept a bit (also Nessie !!! I love Nessie <3)

I really enjoyed your game ! I ended up playing for quite a while (thought I never quite managed to finish the Oxygen puzzle, I did complete the rest of them)

Congratulations on your entry !! The music is really nice and I do love what happens when you give your Jerrys "feedback"

Very very cool concept ! I loved making my own music - I do wish there were a way to remove turrets/move them around to change the sound, but amazing concept !

Nice work !! The moment I realised the duplication didn't just affect cubes broke my brain a little bit, I had a lot of fun solving the puzzles ! The level design is super clever and learning the world's rules felt very organic :)

Wow !! Definitely one of my favourite entries !! It got chaotic FAST and I had a lot of fun !

I'm in LOVE with the artstyle, the animation and the music !! Great work !

(also i fucked myself over in the first run making one of my zombies invincible, it makes the late round very stressful trying to dodge myself long enough for the effect of the cake to run out, 10/10)

Great concept and great music !! The use of physics and the animations are my favourite part :) I do wish the first enemies were a bit less agressive but appart from that steep learning curve I really enjoyed playing your game !

Really good concept !! I love the mechanic of adding more and more tasks to a same loop, you could definitely push it further (and I would gladly play it). Congratulations on that first ever entry - the story was amazing and I was immediately hooked :)

This made me chuckle a few times ! I can tell you guys had a lot of fun writing everything  !

Cool little game ! I would have loved to unlock power ups from time to time, maybe the target can aim it at us to force us to pay even more attention to it !

Looooved the art and the story !! Also the winning screen make Ballsy look incredibly evil, which I love, which nefarious purpose is this little guy up to ? Seems like he's out for vengence

The one note I might have is that i sometimes struggled to figure out the distance between elements ? Maybe having a discreet grid overlay would fix that

I would have liked a more in depth tutorial at the begining, it took me a while to figure out where to drag the instructions :/ But once I understood, I had a lot of fun trying to get Henry to the finish line - it also somewhat felt like having to guide a drunk friend through an obstacle course, trying to protect them from themselves (this is DEFINITELY a compliment, it made it that much more enjoyable)

Amazing amazing AMAZING artwork/atmosphere, you did a great job !! I actually want this in VR so i can sit under the stars

The controls were a bit tough to grasp for me, I never quite managed to get the hang of it, but it was still fun shooting around :)

I really, really like the concept !! Very creative, and the environment is really well thought out !

My only issue (and biggest one) was the camera, making it spin/change angle made the game too hard and I kept hitting walls/falling because of the changes :/

THANK YOU !!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed the art ! As I've said I really liked your game too <3

Credits for the completion goes to Clemicle who kept us both in check in terms of ambition so we were able to wrap this up neatly :)

Thank you so much !! I'm glad you enjoyed the experience (and I also do hope we pick it up again sometimes, for now both the little creature and its creators have to get some rest though ;) )

We definitely didn't sleep as much as we should have ! But it was out of love for what we were creating rather than time pressure (and also because both of us were deep in the ZoneTM).

Truly incredible ! I think it's the game i've played the longest so far, and I'm 99% sure I will play it again to beat my score (the leaderboard was a great idea).

Very cool little game ! I also like how the player can make their own mini challenges (ie try to spend as little as possible, try to win without stepping foot on a plane...) great work ! The postcards were a nice touch :)

Oooooh wow thank you so much, it means a lot in such a huge jam to hear we are some people's faves' <3

Thank you so much !! We definitely thought about adding a tutorial, but for the purpose of the jam we thought it might be more interesting to let players try to figure the world out on their own

Thank you ! We are really proud of the art style so this means a lot :) the story came together very organically, we're maybe planning on expanding the game and including short cinematics at some point

Thank you ! I had a hard time wrapping my head around it and spent the jam working on the art with a physical one on sight :D

Thank you !

Thank you ! I'll look into making a wallpaper out of it soon, but for now my drawing tablet will enjoy its well deserved break !

I'm glad you enjoy the artstyle ! I put a lot of research into it, with the goal of making a coherent world/universe for the character to evolve in :)
