the art soo good nice game it was fun playing it
We’re glad you had a fun time!
Great game! The art and music are fantastic, and everything feels super polished. Really well done. If you have a moment, we'd love for you to check out our team's project too. It was also made in Scratch. It's called "round-and-wound" , hope you enjoy it! --> https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780863
This is so polished! Very impressive scratch project! The art and game feel is on point, and i am very impressed with the clone replays. I just wished the waves spawned as soon as i beat the enemies, but that is a nitpick! I think this game deserves more recognition, you should consider making your thumbnail have more elements from the actual game!
Your feedback means a lot, thank you! We decided not to start the next wave as soon as the enemies are beaten, because we don't want the player to actively try to spend more times in waves, so his later plays will be easier. Instead we thought having a fixed time for a wave will synchronize the clones better. And I totally agree we should work on that thumbnail 😅
new thumbnail looks sick!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you to everyone who has played our little game so far! It puts a smile on PCM’s face to see everyone’s positive comments haha.
Absolutely :)
Wow this was awesome, the game totally deserves way more ratings! Looks super polished and you've got the whole vibe with the art and sfx! I wish the waves spawned a bit faster but maybe I shouldve just played a harder difficulty haha and the bomb was a lot harder to use effectively than the gun. But this was still awesome. Great job!
Thank you so much! I found the time quite short especially when you use the bomb, probably you are just more skilled than me. The bomb is definitely much harder to play, but once you master it, it's very useful, especially in later waves. While with the gun, you have to shoot every single enemy, which carries a huge risk of killing yourself in the next round, you only need a few bombs. I usually try to play the bomb in my first life and then the gun twice.
This is incredible! Everything here is top quality. However I do wish there was an indicator where enemies are going to spawn for a few seconds before they do, so that you don't die immediately.
Also, you misspelled mosquito.
thanks for the review! we really wished we had more time to polish the game :D (also let's pretend you didn't see that typo cuz I was doing last bits of menu art 40 mins prior to the original deadline, aaand English ain't my first language💀)
Wait. There was a typo? 😭
mosqito
very original idea. the only suggestion i have is to make the player invincible for a few seconds when you start to prevent the player from imediatly dying. if it's already in the game, then it should be a bit longer.
cool game, really tough
This is just great all around honestly. The gameplay feels polished and unique, the music is a banger, and the art style is so appealing. Overall, really well done all of you!
Tysm!
whoa the music is good like the composer must be cracked af and awesome and maybe really hot or smth i wouldnt know
Very nice little game. Definitely feels very polished. From playing around a little, I feel like the gun is far more powerful than the bomb, and you're less likely to kill yourself using it, so maybe some balancing could have helped there, but otherwise fun game :)
Thanks a lot! The bomb is definitely much harder to play, but once you master it, it's very useful, especially in later waves. While with the gun, you have to shoot every single enemy, which carries a huge risk of killing yourself in the next round, you only need a few bombs. I usually try to play the bomb my first life and then the pistol twice. Give it a try :D
Very nice
I'm glad I only did a little bit of espionage because I loved getting surprised by the art and gameplay! I recognize those *cracked* animations anywhere ;] The visuals are so clean and eye-catching, 8Bits and Cracked; I love em! And of course you got pianoman, bowtie, pixaloid, and sharkee being crazy and programming this in scratch. The mechanic of your past selves coming back to shoot must've been tough to code, but it works with no bugs! Oh and Vubobinali cooked again with the music. I love how it seamlessly gets more and less intense! And papaya, your story was a great touch! And you can't forget PCM for putting this team together in the first place! Good job, you all!
Took 4 days off of my life for this... no regrets
Simple but cute game. Cool that your previous runs are basically an obstacle. Did get a bit trolled by that doorway being there though lmao.
Nothing to say on the visuals, very cool and the SFX fits the style perfectly. The gameplay also functions very well, no bugs, simple, and we can understand everything pretty fast. If I could say one thing, it’s that the game is simple, but as I said, it works, so the game is not “great” but good.
We appreciate your feedback! We went for a rather simple game to have more time to polish it, as this is usually best in such a short timeframe.
Nice graphics and audio. Killed myself a couple of time due to deflected bullets. I tried to use the door but... apparently we're confined to a single room. ;) I liked the emerald enemies.
Cool idea! It was fun trying to dodge my own bullets and I enjoyed the music.
bombed my math exam for this, it was worth it.
Go play it, you won’t regret it!
