What do you mean Gorilla "Max Beef" Musclemass doesn't belong in the lightweight category? He clearly only weighs 12 pounds, that poor man is anorexic!
Simple minigame, but the story around make it stand out. I liked the reverse gravity mechanic, it keeps the gameplay fresh until the 10th wrestler!
The music goes really well with the game, too.
Good job! =)
Had I not realized it was a fishing rod, I would've been staring at the screen wondering what I was doing for a while XD. Didn't think Stardew's fishing minigame could be adapted to something like this *clap**clap**clap*
Awesome stuff amigo! :))
Thanks! I appreciate that a lot!
Well best wishes on any other work you plan on doing buddo! :]
A fun little arcade game! The visuals on it are really nice! It plays, in my opinion, a lot like the Stardew Valley fishing system. I actually don't like fishing in Stardew because of the minigame but this feels like I'm way more in control of reaching the goal. Very cool. And I love the take on the theme! Great work!
Thanks for playing! And yeah the stardew valley fishing was a big inspiration. Glad you enjoyed our take on it!
Really unique take on the theme! I love the rule that all wrestlers have to wear blue jeans
Gotta follow the rules haha. Thanks for playing!
How on EARTH did you come up with this?? This is probably the game with the wildest concept I've played so far, and I also have no notes on the gameplay, it's simple but surprisingly addictive and satisfying. Great work! I would love to see a fully fledged version of this with more modifiers and twists.
Thank you so much! That means a lot, glad you found the concept enjoyable :)
A very unique idea!
I would recommend for the art style you attempt to conserve pixel resolution (set a standard unit size and work off of that, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32 etc), as there was quite a bit of pixel size clashing and working off of units will give your game a far more consistent look.
Good job overall though!
Thank you! That’s some good feedback!
What a fun and unique take on the theme, I'm pretty sure I haven't seen something like this before. I love the style too, everything fits together perfectly. Nicely done!
Thank you! Our artist did a great job!
As always, the simplest ideas have the best execution. :)
And I really like how your take on the theme.
Thank you! I appreciate that a lot!
Having been a wrestler, this would have been a handy gadget :P Fun concept, and a nice twist on the theme! Great job!
Thank you! And yeah that definitely would have been helpful haha
Fun twist on the theme!
Thanks!
Good implementation on a fun idea. Good game jam game!
Thank you! I appreciate the nice feedback!
I found the idea interesting, and it played well. A little more depth to spice up the gameplay would be nice. I did like the gravity reversal mechanic though!
Thank you! And yeah it is pretty simple. Thanks for playing!
fun idea!
Thanks!
Hahaha, really loved the idea! The gameplay is simple and funny. Well done!
That means a lot! Thanks for playing!
Game well executed and cool mechanic!
Thanks for playing!
Very unique take on the theme! Well done!
Thank you!
This reminds me of the Stardew Valley fishing minigame. So this was no sweat for me... Cool game though, and the music is fitting for a competition warm up!!
Streamed live today!!
Woah thanks for playing it on stream! I’ll watch the stream back later!
Simple and addictive! I like it!
Thank you!
