Nice game. Moving could be improved a bit, for example make it so you control robot more (pressing button to move (not to slow down) on wheels, smaller rockets rotate robot a bit more so you have more control).

But building the robot was fun and it was nice to come up with some creative builds.

Developer

Thanks! I completely agree that the movement isn't fleshed out just yet!

The robot is so adorable OMG

RIGHT??!

Nice reinterpretation of Bad Piggies.

Haha, I knew someone would consider the reference! I did think of looking up the game for inspiration, but we actively chose not to and to think of original components! (There is only that much originality, when it gets to movement like this tho xD). The components should have added to this games lore with descriptions, we sadly didn't have the time to add a display for them!

Nice concept! It was fun experimenting with different combinations of equipment. I also love the effort put into the story. It really gave character some depth that I wasn’t expecting from a game jam.

Developer

Thanks! It is very important to us to provide a complete and rounded experience and I'm glad we could make it enjoyable! We are working on a more polished version, so feel free to check the game page once the submission period is over! ;)

Pretty cool comment!

Wow, such a great entry for a jam. The puzzle of the game is well-designed. Though it's a bit too much dexterity requiring for me. Great work!

Developer

Haha thanks a lot! We ran out of time when it came to level design, so we did some short segments to introduce each component!

this is a really fun and creative game.

Developer

Thank you! :D

Cool idea for the game.  I was excited to see what I could do, but I couldn't understand the controls, using WASD didn't seem to influence the robot that much, and the  tutorial text overlapped at one point so I wasn't able to read it, and I managed to fall into the endless void.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! Yeah, the tutorial didn't consider many edge cases, it works almost just alright if you only click what it says :D
WASD changes the behaviour of every component on either side (W for top, S for bottom), except for the fuel tank. Wheels brake, hat stops working and ofc jetpack and thruster active :D

I love the propeller hat.

Developer

Hat go weeee (it was supposed to play clown music)

cool game. The rockets were a little wierd, but in general the movement is really good!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The hat keeps you from rotating away, which might look weird if rotated a lot, also the right jetpack should boost you to the left, but it doesn't, so that may be the weird behaviour!

I like the ability to build your robot how you want! Nice work!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

We enjoy being able to be creative in our playstyle in games, instead of being hard-wired to a specific playstyle, so I hope you enjoyed this as much as us!
