How does your game fit the theme?
Bob can scale along the X-axes and Joe along the Y-axes which is the main mechanic of the game and creates interesting puzzles.

cool idea for the theme I had fun with it!
have the different shapes be characters was FRESH, and they were cute :3 the climbing felt a little janky, but the ideas were good and you executed on them well!
Cute character art! It was little difficult since I had to memorize many keys, but the concept really fits well with the theme scale.
Very fun game! the puzzles are very interesting. I guess that for a solo player it is a bit difficult to remember scale keys for each of the characters haha but it really has a lot of potential as a co-op game! I liked the art and the music!
very fun and cute game. good job!
Reminds me fireboy and watergirl especially the level select. Quite fun
Super cute and chill, I enjoyed this one for a lot of reasons!
It was tricky controlling both guys at once. I liked the music and the face Joe makes when Bob dies!!!
Soooooo.. are Bob & Joe friends or.. friends~
No reason. Not writing a fan fiction about two shapey bois.
Not sure if you were inspired by it or not, but getting some serious Snipperclips vibes from this (in a really good way). I was also one of the people playing by myself thinking how it'd be fun to do with two players. I thought the central mechanic utilised the theme really well, and the legs having their own physics for Bob is really clever too. On top of that you've got a large number of levels too, just an all round great entry!
My only real criticism is that I wasn't sure if I played all the levels or not? It seemed like there was a branching path, and I went one way and then the game ended with no way to choose the other. It would be really great if I could just pick any level from the start, so that if I come back to the game later I don't have to go through everything. Either that or a save system. But that complaint is only because I feel like I missed out on a game I was enjoying 😄
Ah happy you enjoyed our game. We were mostly inspired by Fireboy and Watergirl but definitely also took inspiration from other co-op games like "Snipperclips" and "It takes two" to try to make good co-op levels. We initially intended to create more levels and fill all the stars but maybe we should have predicted that that was way too ambitious for 4 days, haha. In the end, we decided to keep the menu select like this because we did not have time to make another one but also because we really liked it. In total there are 7 levels and if you finished them all you should have gotten the "thank you for playing our demo" at the end. Maybe we will add all the levels at some point since most of them are designed, just didn't have the time to put them in :/
I played with my brother, and it was so much fun, it reminded me of the little co-op games on poki. I don't see a lot of duo games on game jams, and with such an interesting idea, I'm forced to say that this is a very original game.
Thank you so much! And happy to hear that you played with your brother!
interesting game, i keep forgetting which key i should use for scaling, it should be fun if i have someone to play with.
jumping feels a little glitch, some time i got teleported on top of the wall.
Thank you for playing this game! Sadly we accidentally created a bug with the jump just before the deadline, where you can infititely jump near tutorialtext haha.
This makes it easier to miss the (not super polished) climbing mechanic: Joe can climb on walls that are shorter than him by pressing the jump button. This will teleport him on top of the wall he wanted to climb.
Glad to see you have enjoyed though!
It reminded me of Snipperclips! 🤣
Great to hear!
This is the kind of game I wished I had someone to play with. So many levels!
Thank you so much, that is great to hear!
Pretty neat concept! Switching between 2 different controls schemes for 2 characters definitely takes some getting to use to and I kept forgetting the control scheme, but getting the in flow felt good! Though whenever I forgot which keys did what or had to switch to using the mouse at the end of each stage, did break a little bit of that flow state.
The game's aesthetics look overall quite nice! It's got a neat cohesive visual style, though I wasn't quite sure if there was an underlying theme with some of the visual motifs.
Also, this is minor, but I wish the characters had more appropriate names, since I kept forgetting which one was Bob and which one was Joe. Maybe something like X-Ray and Yankee, coming from the Nato alphabet, would help in remembering!
Fun beyond that, though admittedly I'm not too much into puzzles, I did enjoy it for the short time that I had played :D
Thanks for your feedback, glad you had fun!
Very unique and interesting, well done!
i love how simple this idea is but so deep in terms of what kind of puzzles you can design. way to go!
Thank you so much! We originally had some additional ideas, like Joe being able to turn into a climbable rope and Bob being a trampoline, we might still add that in the future!
I love those ideas! There's a ton of potential with these mechanics.
I played during the first level without using the scale mechanic (you can spam the jump button xD).
As feedbacks, I think that having the first levels really simple but forcing you to use the mechanics of the game would be te way to go :)
cool interpretation of the theme! the game was fun to play and reminded me of fire boy and water girl which i used to play during school. i'm impressed with the quality of detail you put into each level, especially on such a tight schedule!
Really glad to hear it reminded you of Fireboy and Watergirl! Thank you for your feedback!
really cool concept
