Really cool large game. I really enjoyed the first few levels but eventually got a little bit lost on all the bugs and how I was supposed to use them.

Minor point: Sometimes I missed the bugbits when they were hidden underneath the text.

Managed to get stuck in a box👀

Super cool polished game and beautiful itch page. If this was a full game I would definitely finish it (if I have the skills). Unique concept with the waves and I like that you combined a shrinking mechanic with a 'double jump'. Awesome😁

Cool concept, and an encouraging way to leave reviews and explore cool real life locations! Would have loved a 'skip' button when I was done drawing, but on the other hand it encouraged me to draw more.

The environment is so beautiful😍

Ik kon het niet laten😅

Super cool concept and a really cool game! Love it

Such a cute game, loved the chicken waddle and the epic grass!! definitely the second best chicken game of the Jam ;)

4th year HKU Game Dev here, this game was actually really cute! I love all the funny sounds and memes (mostly the "crimes: destroying helgen" ), and the art style is quite cute. Loved the ending cutscene, especially the fish party😁

Really well done, keep up the good work!

Nice lil game!
It is quite luck based at the moment where the spider spawns.
In my first level the lines the spider was crawling in was not connected to my route in any where, so there was no way the spider could ever reach me.
In the second level, there was no way past the spider, and there was no way I would not get eaten. I do think this represents an ants life tho.

So cool!

Cool concept! I love it when people make local coop games. At first I was having a hard time hitting the other player, since I would either hit the bridge or barely shoot over the bridge but still overshoot for the player. Then I found out I just had to make more of an arc and shoot up.

I love that there is different ammunition and they all have cool abilities, I would say that was the highlight of the game for me.

Ahhh thank you very much for reporting!! That does definitely make it hard to see. Can't say I understand which unity thing this is yet but I'm sure we can figure it out and fix it!

Hope you had fun anyway and thanks for sticking with it and even checking different ratio's!!

Nahw Thank you so much, so glad you had fun and want to keep playing, that means a lot!!

We participated in this jam initially because I (Kim and person who keeps replying to these comments) wanted to understand and experience what my partner (whose name is on the Itch account) does for his study (game development). I had a really good time, a lot of fun and learned a lot about unity, tilemaps, coding (the buttons were (mostly) all me woohooo), etc. so you will definitely see us participating again ;). And we decided to keep working on this game as a way for me to learn more about coding and games. So updates will definitely be coming but they might not be as thick and fast since apparently I first need to learn how to code... :)

Super prettyyy and love the idea of being in a tiny Kanu and paddling through the vastness of space being pulled by objects. I sadly don't think I really figured out the gameplay or what was really my objective.

Really cool idea and fun levels, my little guy do be faasssttt haha. Can be hard to figure out what you can jump on and what not. Maybe you could highlight the top of the surfaces you can jump on top of with something or even just adding more arrows (especially in the first level when I didn't know I could jump through many items but stand on top of them) and after that the player can figure it out more freely? Idk I do also think it adds an interesting sort of puzzle element to this platformer which I did enjoy but idk if that was what you were going for :)

Beautiful game!! Love the unique style and sound design. Puzzles were smart but a bit too smart for me at times as I did not always understand how to complete them. But overall really well made and really impressive how many levels there are.

Charming, engaging and fun and damn investing do be tricky with all these floingus around!

Funny game, fun concept, fun execution!

Ah amazing game, one of my favourites! Took a couple attempts to understand what was going on, then took a couple more to be sorta able to manage, but I'm so happy I stuck with it, truly becomes so good when you figure it out. Incredible game and very cool take on the theme.!

Really great game! Very impressive for a gameJam and really fun take on the genre!!

really nice game, if fully released I think it might need something more to keep your attention for longer but really enjoyed it for the while that I played which is super impressive for 48 hours. Really great job!

(1 edit)

Thank you!! So happy you had fun :)

HAhahaa amazing game. Tiny bit hard to control but the vibes are perfect!

Also Bob is a great name ;)

Ah thank you for playing our game and all your good feedback! None of us are very familiar with audio design so it was a bit of a struggle. We did have a cool idea that the scaling would play notes on a music scale (different one for each character) but we tried to implement the one on a piano and it sounded really off. We tried to look for something different but it was cutting it very close to the deadline so we decided to just leave it out sadly enough.

I loved the audio in your game so if you have any suggestions how to implement this well please feel free to let us know :)

Ah thank you very much and so happy you also fell in love with bob and Joe :).

I would love to know which levels felt out of balance. It is my first time level designing and while it was really fun I also realised how hard it can be, so I would love to know in order to learn and improve. :)

Ahhh, I missed that, thank you for clarifying, going to try again :)

neat game! Had a good time with the puzzles and scaling with the mouse button is really easy!

Very cool unique deck builder and I think the difficulty is really well balanced. I played through it once and succeeded in all levels except for the last one but I was always on the edge. Very nicely done!

How fun encountering my fellow teammember/peanutbutter enjoyer in my first gamejam!

First of all, great concept! I obviously love the idea of minigolf being scaled up to a planetary scale, but this actually works so well with mechanics like gravitational pulls and adding thrusters to the golf ball. I was a bit confused in the end when it seemed I had reached the final planet but nothing much happened sadly enough. Overall this was really fun to play! And cool to see you gaining more experience in Godot!

I hope you check out my game as well, I finally actually made a 2D game for the first time rather than making 3D games all the time ;)

Aahh amazing fast paces game, feels super satisfying!! Even replayed it to read all the dialogue options since multitasking not dying and reading was too much for me. Very nice music and the art is beautiful, definitely deserves more hype!

Very nice, good solid game! In the beginning I misunderstood that I should not pick up the other coloured collectables since they make the same sound, but that was partly on me for being a little stupid and I quickly got the hang of it :)

Really nice idea and well executed! I'm probably not the smartest person but the puzzles are a bit hard, very satisfying when you solve them tho :)

Super nice original concept! Really convincing server vibes!

Really lovely simple game! Partly on me for not reading the instructions but I was confused why some obstacles killed me and some didn't. I know realised I was big enough to withstand them and was just shrinking but I think you could make this even better by adding some visual feedback :)

The art is so pretty and it has such a nice feel. I probably missed something but what is the reason of the other scale? Or was it just visual (The blue one did look very good)

Loved playing this game, very engaging, good difficulty curb and well-thought-out tricky puzzles!

Wow this looks really good, and the main mechanic is cool. Love the ending as well! Some levels were a bit frustrating (2 and 7 mainly) and I did not really like how the jump worked, but this game is really polished and had some cool ideas! The highlighting effects were also really clear.

Ah happy you enjoyed our game. We were mostly inspired by Fireboy and Watergirl but definitely also took inspiration from other co-op games like "Snipperclips" and "It takes two" to try to make good co-op levels. We initially intended to create more levels and fill all the stars but maybe we should have predicted that that was way too ambitious for 4 days, haha. In the end, we decided to keep the menu select like this because we did not have time to make another one but also because we really liked it. In total there are 7 levels and if you finished them all you should have gotten the "thank you for playing our demo" at the end. Maybe we will add all the levels at some point since most of them are designed, just didn't have the time to put them in :/

Cutee, loved being big cat ball, parkour is actually quite hard.
