The robots are so cute and the puzzles are really nicely incremental and just really well designed in general! I don't think this was intentional, but the animation when you put down a robot friend makes it look like you give them a little pat, which was adorable.
.....but man, you really didn't need to make your game call out how bad I am at simple arithmetic. But aside from that, this game was perfect <3
Super cool concept and fun puzzles! Love the art style, and the game is very intuitive. Great job!
Wait a sec, you just tricked me into a math game! :O
(I coulda been really into this in the days of Math Blaster)
I love being a big beefy robot who throws my friends around. Nice puzzle designs—never overwhelming, even when I thought they were going to be. Super solid jam game! Well done.
Fun little puzzle game! So cute. One strong robot guy :)
What a fun game, and well-designed puzzles! I liked how you introduced the new robots and slowly built up complexity without causing confusion. The round yellow robot was my favorite :)
Cool puzzle game, has some interesting tricks but isn't too difficult either. Some of the levels took me multiple tries, and never more than about 3.
Another top quality jam game, really well designed puzzles, very satisfying!
Really cool game!
Good polish and solid puzzles, congratulations :)
This has been one of my favorites so far. Really impressed that y'all made the art during the game jam. Very cheeky ;)
I enjoyed the later levels with the math the most. Having to think about not just the amount of pickups but the numbers and negative numbers was great.
If I had to give any constructive criticism I'd say a couple of the simpler levels were maybe too simple. But they also still serve a purpose, by teaching the mechanics, but I think you could teach those mechanics while still having slightly more involved puzzles.
Great job!
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
The negative numbers came to me as a last minute... addition lol. The logic was all there, I just kept discovering new ways to play with the space. It was a lot of fun.
Agreed that some of the teaching stages are a bit overkill. But I'd rather have it short and sweet for a jam. I fought myself really hard on putting the ones in there that are literally just "press right" but they're valuable teachers!
Super nice design, everything felt very seamless! The puzzles were fun to solve and it was very simple and easy to learn. Nice job!
That was a Really fun puzzle game! One of the few I've played to completion this jam so nice work. It was clear what I was meant to do and simple enough to be accessible to us sleep deprived devs haha. The art, audio and gameplay all comes together into a very complete and polished experience. Excellent "addition" *wink* to the jam
Great to see you in GMTK again! This was a really really well designed and polished puzzle game, I had a lot of fun playing the entire time (it also humbled me with basic addition lmao). Really simple yet charming art and man the tile movement accompanied with the animation felt so nice, I spent a bit at the start just jumping back and forth. Mechanics were super simple and I learned them very quickly, and every time something new was introduced I felt very excited to see how it would be used.
Solid submission, best of luck for the rest of the jam!
Thank you so much for the kind words, Daniel! Good to see you again, too! :)
Great design! The puzzles felt intuitive and have a good progression to them. I liked seeing how you innovated on the mechanic over the course of the game. The sound design felt very good, too. A very solid entry 🎉
He do got that booty tho 🤔
Robots are allowed to have booties :)
Loved it, every aspect of it. It was very polished and a very well thought puzzle game. The last level was tricky for me because It never occurred to me that the smiley face was equal to one. Looking forward to see you in the video, or maybe on steam :). Wish you success.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Clever puzzle game! I really liked the one that you can through anywhere! Hehe
I had a really fun time ! game is polished and enjoyable keep it up !
Cool and interesting puzzle, made me strain my brain :)
This such a fun puzzle game! The visuals also look amazing!
Oh, they're cute! The puzzles felt like they took the right amount of thought for a jam game, and I could see this growing in some pretty neat ways. Congrats on the entry!
Kudos to you. This is very polished, clever, and could be pushed in several directions : puzzle game for everyone, or puzzle game to practice additions / subtractions for children.
