This is an absurdly big game to make in only 4 days, and to have polish on top of that is *chef's kiss. The only thing that felt a bit off was the glider. I had a bit of trouble getting it to activate when I wanted it to at the start of my jumps. I also wish there was a way to put away the glider midair, as I overshot a lot of platforms by being too high with my glider. Regardless of those issues, this is an amazing game!

Developer

Thank you so much!!  Really glad you liked it and sorry about the glider - the feedback we've gotten has made it pretty clear that it needed a few more passes because it feels pretty rough in the current version.

I love this game the style and the scenery. This is very polished and well done for a game jam :D

thank!!

Good god, that title screen is the most gorgeous thing ever! The gameplay is not so much my jam, I am too stupid for 3d and get motion sickness in first person, but your graphics are insane.

Developer

Awww, thanks so much! we spent awhile on the title screen so super glad to hear you liked it :) so sorry that you got some motion sickness tho :(. Thank you!

Really lovely graphics, and amazing art, love the platforming, though the player seems to fall down real fast. Great Job!!

Developer

Thanks so much!

Excellent! Cool concept, and I don't know if I am right, but if you put a shader on it? That is cool! I love how it looks!

Developer

Thank you! and yes, we did! there was a technical artist on the team who worked really hard on shaders and the visual look of the game, and we're glad to hear that you liked it :)

Super impressive game the graphics were stelar and the platforming was perfectly difficult really good submission!

Developer

Thank you! So glad to hear the difficulty was good - we went back and forth a lot of times about it :)

Thanks to everyone for playing and leaving a comment!

Awesome game! Really impressive style and scale for the jam, and it plays really well overall. Had to download it to play properly but I'm glad I did, had a lot of fun with this one. Great job!

I really enjoyed the world opening up after the tutorial and the glide function is very fun to use. There seems to be a bug where you can climb the whole tower by spamming the ledge grab. Overall, I really enjoyed running around doing parkour, seeing the towers scale up was really cool. Great game!

Fun platformer! Controls felt snappy, and the moment when you see all the towers after the tutorial was awesome! And the game looks nice with the stylized shader. Only nitpick I have is that the level metrics were a bit unclear at times for me, as sometimes there would be jumps that were slightly too far or high up that I would mistake for being the intended path, then end up falling a long ways because of that. Overall good job tho, very fun game!

I really enjoyed it.
The platforming felt compelling and controls were snappy.
The gliding mechanic was a neat surprise, sometimes it wouldn't trigger and I fell down tho lol.
I love the art design, especially the shader and visual effects when the towers rose up. The soundtrack is fitting, but sometimes I jumped around fast enough that it switched too early.
I tried to win despite encountering the known issues, but ended up with a whitescreen D:

Overall this is a game I see myself playing while in a call on Discord. It's really fun!

Some more bugs I encountered:
- shaking ground that would prevent me from jumping
- one time it felt like something bumped into my head and pushed me down through a platform, it was weird
- sometimes the game froze up, but hitting Esc fixed it (was playing on Linux Chromium, I did not have good performance on Firefox tho)

Beautiful game! I enjoyed the relaxing vibes which made scaling the buildings quite comfy. The climbing could have been a bit better, felt sometimes that I couldn't quite reach platforms that were a bit higher up and I landed on the edge which made me spam spacebar, which in turn made me go into flight mode and make me fall all the way down again.

I'm terrible at platformers, but this one felt pretty good! Especially after getting my first bridge/checkpoint. My problem was not using the bridges as soon as I built them (awesome animation btw, I love bridges); instead opting to finish the current tower.

Using the glider to exit the tutorial was super fun, rocks having no collision made me think there were secrets in them, especially when I found a maze texture on one. That could very well be true.

The typos/inconsistencies and lack of gravitas in the tutorial text, despite the presence of a seemingly biblical flood lost a couple immersion points, but the overall aesthetic is awesome. I love the shaders, and the platforming feels appropriately forgiving once I stopped tensing up and start enjoying it. The way the towers build is so terrifying and cool.

Unfortunately, I found a very easy-to-reproduce infinite height glitch where you can open the glider over and over to gain height while falling against the tower's wall. Other bugs include invisible collision on the prefab with the columns and moving platform that goes into the tower; some prefabs not always spawning with their correct counterpart above them, forcing you to move to another tower; some platforms at the end of bridges not having collision; and getting booted to the Start Menu after finishing two towers, but maybe I was doing them out of order or something.

Great game! Looking forward to more.

Amazing visuals! really tight platforming and great level design. I would to play a full release version! Trying to get to the top of each tower was super fun :)

Awwem thanks so much!

Really impressive stuff, the towers being built looks really sick and the parkour feels solid with only 4 days of work on it. Glider was fun to use and wish that there were more opportunities to use it. With some more work this could be a full game honestly.

Developer

Thanks so much! Super glad you liked watching the towers grow - definitely a big part of the reason we chose this idea was to chase that visual moment lol. Happy to hear you liked the glider too, and definitely agree about the usage of it :)

Yoo the game looks really great! Love the aesthetics and the shader! Unfortunately I got stuck under one of the towers and couldn't move so I had to restart, the physics could use some tweaking here and there, but I really liked the ledge grabbing you've added, it helped a lot! Overall a really nice game!

Thanks so much, glad you liked it! Sorry to hear about you getting stuck, that's no fun.
