So creative! definitely a unique game among the ones I've played so far haha. I like the idea, and the asthetic is spot on, but I kept getting stuck with the purple ape. It seemed like whenever I got there, he would just eventually kill me no matter what I did. Cool project, and interesting damaging mechanic, but I'd definitely love some more explanation haha. Audio was a bit harsh for me too. cool project!
Wow! Super cool concept, but very tricky (for me at least haha). I think the minigames all feel great - the sound in particular is incredible in this game - but I think it get a little too difficult a little too fast for me. Love the vibes tho!oh btw it doesn't seem to work on firefox but I was able to play it by switching to chrome
Ooh, interesting! I like the idea of a first person horror game with bullets for countdown, but I'm definitely unsure about what to do - I was able to pickup the extra shotgun shell, but no clue from there. Pressing r lowered my meter, but so did shooting the gun, and it seemed like there were just a few black hallways that I couldn't go into? I'd love to try it again with a little more instruction. I really like the visuals and audio!
Sick game! I'm normally kind of rubbish at rhythm games (and evn ater like 10 tries the lowest I got the boss was like 45% hp), but this was a ton of fun and I really got the the flow of the timing! very satisfying and extremely well executed concept! I would have loved to see some more animations and maybe some other player abilities or something (got kinda bored of the same timing for player attacks), but overall great submission!
Nice submission, especially for a first jam game! Concept and scope is clear and well managed, and the player movement feels snappy and solid. That said, I'd love to see some more guidance about what to do at the start (it very much just drops you in haha) and some more content. I got a score of 4217 after escaping a few times. Cool game!
Thanks so much for playing, and for the thorough review! The difficulty was definitely needed some more turning - In playtests up the the deadline I had players where lag made it impossible to complete the time requirements so I lowered them, but likely too much. And totally agree about the audio, it's not very cohesive, and another few background tracks would have been great :)
glad you liked the feel and vibes!
nice! I really loved the vibe / setting / art, and the audio was fun and jazzy! the core mechnic is great, and the whole game feels nice and polished :) I've sene a couple of these 'draw loops with player character around enemies' type ideas in this jam and this one is by far my favorite :)
excellently done!
hahahhahaha amazing concept - I'm blown away by how much it feels like rain world for a 4 day jam. Tbh I played some rain world but stopped after having a really hard time with the game, but I think this has convinced me to go back and give it another try. The humor is great, the movement feels really clean, and the basic idea of 'what if it was cereal' is perfectly simple and excellently executed.
While it would have been nice to have some more instruction or a little more polish in certain areas (the ui was hard to see against the cereal texture, for example), this is super charming and I enjoyed beating it - definitely would have played more if there was another karma gate and a few more areas :). Great job!
Cool idea! nno-euclidean games like this are a lot of fun, and it was cool to realize how it worked, but after that it felt pretty straightforward, and after having to get all the way to floor 20, it felt like busywork to have to get 150 bolts haha. especally because I didn't realize that I could open cabinets and drawers haha. Cool concept!
