nice! I really loved the vibe / setting / art, and the audio was fun and jazzy! the core mechnic is great, and the whole game feels nice and polished :) I've sene a couple of these 'draw loops with player character around enemies' type ideas in this jam and this one is by far my favorite :)
excellently done!
hahahhahaha amazing concept - I'm blown away by how much it feels like rain world for a 4 day jam. Tbh I played some rain world but stopped after having a really hard time with the game, but I think this has convinced me to go back and give it another try. The humor is great, the movement feels really clean, and the basic idea of 'what if it was cereal' is perfectly simple and excellently executed.
While it would have been nice to have some more instruction or a little more polish in certain areas (the ui was hard to see against the cereal texture, for example), this is super charming and I enjoyed beating it - definitely would have played more if there was another karma gate and a few more areas :). Great job!
Cool idea! nno-euclidean games like this are a lot of fun, and it was cool to realize how it worked, but after that it felt pretty straightforward, and after having to get all the way to floor 20, it felt like busywork to have to get 150 bolts haha. especally because I didn't realize that I could open cabinets and drawers haha. Cool concept!
WOW! I can't believe the number of different mechanics in this game! Each time something new was introduced I felt like that was going to be the last new mechanic then there would be another one a level or two later, which was super cool.
That being said, the huge number of mechanics was the strength and weakness of this game - while the variety was really fun, it felt like some of the time spent making new things might have been better spent fleshing out level designs that explored each mechanic more fully.
That aside, it's a really cool game and I had fun playing through the whole thing :)
such a cute game! the music, the character and visuals all game together to make a fun experience. The level design was clearly really clever to be able to accommodate the different styles, and I enjoyed both the builder and the wings path in my two playthroughs :P
Would have loved some some effects to take it to the next level, or a more responsive jump, but it was super cool overall :)
cool game! The music slaps, the colors are really nice and bright, and the UI feels really clean! I feel like the hammer swinging mechanic was meant to feel like this really satisfying thing whenever you crunch through enemies, but especially as the game went on I never had any room to spin it up to speed, so I ended up just hitting everything super slowly, which made killing enemies take longer and further crowded up the screen. Also I think I was doing something wrong bc I never got any combos. fun overall tho, especially in the early game :)
I love this! Amazingly cute and the vibes are so nice and chill. I think I softlocked myself by placing my lumbermill too far from trees and not having enough wood to place another one, but i tried again and built a cute little town. Would like a little more explanation at the beginning, but it's a really nice project overall, and the whole experience really feels nice and cohesive :)
