This is such a cute game! I liked the challenge, but the sliding did make it more difficult, and not in the best way. I think it's hard to make platformers unique, but this was so fun and felt really special. Thank you so much for sharing with us all!
Glad you liked it. Agreed, the controls are not smooth. It's my first platformer. Will do better next time.
nice! The use of the the theme was super clever and I really like the little characters! That said, I found that it was really hard because the puzzles (starting at the first one with 3 of them) required a ton of precision, but the controls didn't really allow for it. slightly larger and/or more forgiving levels would be nice :P. really cool project overall!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback
Solid level design!
I feel like the game could benefit from having more intermediate levels. The smoke interpretation was very creative, I would have enjoyed more levels to explore that. I also think that the game could benefit from a nice tune in the background to help calm my anxiety on the last level lol. Hope to see more of your games in future jams!
Thanks! True, I should focus more on level design.
Solid theme implementation, nicely combined with classic platformer. The controls and character inertia/sliding makes it a bit frustrating to control especially in some complex levels where you need to control a few characters at once. Also good level difficulty progression. Good job!
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! I highly agree that the controls are not so good.
I started one day before the deadline, so I had little time for level design and cleanups like these. Also, it was my first time making a platformer. So pls forgive me for the frustration.
