Like the space screen idea. It's fun to try to go fast as hell.

Hello all!
As the title says I am a near intermediate level Godot programmer/developer. I know my way around the engine and feel quite comfortable programming a 2D game using GDScript. Artists, sound designers, UI/UX people and even fellow Godot devs are welcome to team up with me, or recruit me to their own team ;)
Enjoyed the art a lot and love the grid type system for moving around, it just makes sense. Really fun KFC simulator lol. All jokes aside, nice relaxing game and a good submission. I feel like it perhaps could benefit from some more difficult levels near the end for a more stimulating experience. Good job!
Love the palworld type idea with the miners! So cool to see so many intricate systems at play. Very nice modular construction placement and intuitive UI. I'd love to have seen some more information on the differences between each piece but I managed by purchasing them all and testing them out! Congratulations on a wonderful submission, see you in a future jam hopefully :)
Hahaha!
I'm super happy that you made it all the way to the end!
In hindsight, I should have made the boss room a separate one. But instead, I just made it so that you could only pass to the "thank you for playing" level (the next level) if you clear that entire room (boss room + enemy room). So unfortunately you didn't see that room :(.
Tell me, did you have any issues when the vanishing enemy appeared? Game froze at all? If not, what browser are you using?
Thank you for playing!!
Really good theme and special item implementation & execution! I really appreciated the immediate checkpoints, it made finishing the game more manageable. The art is pretty neat and cohesive alongside the music. I feel like you could have benefited with some more feedback SFX or UI for example, each time you die or when you finish the game. Great job guys!
You are right, after the level with the 3 mages you will face the vanishing enemy for the first time. This enemy creates a smoke effect and that effect is causing the issue. I thought I had fixed this when I changed some settings but it turns out that it only happens the first time you run that level, afterwards it runs fine.
Until I find a way to fix this, whoever is playing my game, once you reach that situation just press [ESC] and wait for the menu to appear. After a few seconds the game will unfreeze and you can resume playing!
Very sorry for this :(
Really good game! I love the artwork, the low poly style is well met. I feel like this game would have benefited greatly from having a grid type system for inserting the mirrors. I found it a little awkward to try to get the right places to place them, maybe this is on purpose to add difficulty but I would have gone the "casual and satisfying puzzle game" route in terms of difficulty as it adapts more to the style of your game imo. I can't stress enough how awesome I think the overall aesthetic is. Good job!
Solid level design!
I feel like the game could benefit from having more intermediate levels. The smoke interpretation was very creative, I would have enjoyed more levels to explore that. I also think that the game could benefit from a nice tune in the background to help calm my anxiety on the last level lol. Hope to see more of your games in future jams!
Whilst playing the game I felt as though the player controls were a bit too difficult to manage. The player gains/loses speed painfully slow. It was cool that you made it possible for the player to jump twice when using the dash mechanic and I really liked the shapeshifting, however, it was rather unpredictable. I'm eager to see future submissions from you in other game jams.
