Wow you made a great game. I had the same idea but you made it completely
It looks AMAZING for the 48 hour time period. The idea with the cards is a cool spin on the "control the dungeon" reversal. Sometimes the hitboxes for placing the enemies seem a bit off, but in general this is very polished and a fun puzzle game.
Really fun and quite polished for a 48 hour jam, there were a few visual bugs, but nothing game breaking. the levels are well balanced and the player path finding works as intended, great job!
Fantastic game, honestly it is extra roles reversed, since there's so many "Use enemies to kill the player" submissions in this jam, you're basicly that idea but reversed yet again.
Only thing I'd add is the ability to reset the enemies for the level, I misplaced them sometimes and it sucked there was no undo button.
Definitely one of the most fun games so far, well done.
Really enjoyed this game! My cards don't always get played though, but still. Really solid!
I quite liked it, but the game did get repetitive, as the different enemy types don't add much variety to the game play experience.
Interesting concept! This game really does fit the theme well. I experienced a weird bug though when I was attempting to place a dungeon card item and it was marked with "X" for being unable to be placed, but I accidentally clicked and the card disappeared. Hopefully that is an easy fix! Overall, great job :)
Really cool concept! I love trying to strategically place the cards, and the healing circle allows for even more different strategies! Usually I would put the coin right next to the player, but with the healing circle I would put the coin around the circle. Very creative and very polished!
I got to level 14 but died because of how many giant slimes there were in my deck. I guess I was supposed to use the discard mechanic? But I never really used it so I'm not sure
Sometimes got stuck because I tried playing a card and it just disappeared, and I had no way to start the level :(
Fantastic take on the dungeon master concept, very fun to play and it genuinely feels like your enemy/item placements matter :)
This was an excellent take on the "dungeon crawler but you build it" concept. The gameplay was very enjoyable, and had a good layer of strategy to it. This was a great game, good work!
Really enjoyed this one here for a solid 20 minutes! The enemies look very cute too!
I really like this game. Great music, great art (especially the cover art), and great gameplay. I reached floor 10 first try and floor 15 2nd try. It was really fun. Good job!
I really love the game, I made it to level/floor 20 after some trial and error, it's not too hard, I really love how every monster is unique and has some sort of "placement", like slimes can be put down to lure the player when you dont have a coin, I love how explosion triggers right after that dude steps on the trap... the possibilites are endless, and I rarely could blame the game for losing, it was all my fault xD
My favorite so far! The art and overall presentation is amazing and the gameplay is fun and interesting. The only obvious improvements I saw that could be made is making it more clear where you can and cannot place cards, as well as the ability to move a card after you've placed it.
I made it to floor 14 on my first attempt.
Great job :)
