A super entertaining game with impeccable graphics. There's not much to say except WOW.
Always appreciate having a tutorial! Art is so good and I love the balance of healing while the crystal is out and blasting down a bunch of minions. Gives a great pacing! Would love to see some rogue like elements of upgrade cards or something :D
I'm happy to hear that you like the pacing! A couple have differing opinions though so if I revisit this game I'll do some more tweaking to it. I really like your idea of adding rogue-like elements. I actually considered that while making this but I didn't have the time plus I was running out of steam.
Incredible art and the game feels really polished. I'll have to revisit and do a longer playthrough later after I've rated a few more games. Great work!
Cute pixel art, and fun game, but it's a little bit too difficult (maybe I'm bad, but I was dying on the easier difficulty). Great work !
Thanks! I've died on the easiest difficulty a few times too. I agree it might be a bit too hard
Great game and idea! If it were a bit more fast paced it would be even better
Thanks for the feedback! If I was to iterate on this game I'd put the focus more on summoning than dodging bullets next time
I like the idea that you're a villain but you're not controlling like a regular character in games, and the only thing you can do is summoning other enemies. Well done.
I like the idea, I am not sure how limiting the amount of monsters a player can spawn and then having them be waiting around those crystals is making the game fast paced. Am I missing something?
Thanks for playing! My thinking was relative to my original concept with no bullet-hell aspects it's fast-paced but maybe fast-paced wasn't the right term. Perhaps just saying "more challenging" would've sufficed
Really strong entry! I love the visuals, and everything feels nice and polished. I was confused at first why I couldnt summon my pets, but turns out the circle around enemies is like a protective area! I think it would make the game less confusing as a first time if clicking inside the circle simply summoned your pets at the closest point where it would be allowed.
Thank you! That's a pretty good suggestion. I don't know why nothing like that occurred to me while making this. At least a beep or particle to indicate an invalid placement really should be in this game.
It's amazing that you were able to do this in a weekend!
Thanks! I was a little proud of myself for making this in such a short amount of time. Totally worth the sleep I lost!
Design is awesome, Music is great, and the gameplay is really cool with how the different types of enemies complete each other and push you into circulating around the space
Great Job!
I appreciate the kind feedback! It sounds like I hit my design goals
Good job, I really loved it, Great Idea!
Nice idea. Best tactic seems to be spam bats, followed by the other things so the bats soak up the damage. Then spawn them behind the enemy.
Thanks for playing! Sounds like you found a really effective strategy
Cool!
It looks super cool! I can't figure out how to attack though...
I'm glad you think it looks cool! The attack is not very traditional. You have to spawn minions by clicking anywhere away from the enemy. The minions will then attack your enemy for you.
Aaaa I get it now. There even is a tutorial! Really solid entry with a great game feel. Great job!
Great twist on the bullet hell genre, I enjoyed it immensely. I ran into a bug where I couldn't find the crystal that gives more mana, but I enjoyed the game nonetheless.
Thanks! I used to have the crystal follow the player if it got off-screen so it never gets lost but then I realized that's easy to exploit. Maybe in the future, I'll come up with a better solution so that losing it never happens.
I love the art! This game deserves to be high up than it is. Very good job.
I appreciate that! I think maybe it's not higher up because of the cover. It was easy to miss so I made a new one just now
The art and music are amazing. Great twist on the bullet heaven genre!
Feels very polished!
Thanks! I spent like half a day on just the polish
