I found a glitch that breaks all the UI, idk why. It happened on blasphemous barry. the timer broke or smth?
Thanks, we have a UI fix in the works!
I loved the characters! They all have distinct personalities and are beautifully drawn. Only criticism I have is to maybe give the player some more challenging choices. Right now it's basically just seeing which character has the biggest chance at completing the task. Still, the game looks great and has a cool atmosphere. Good job!
Cool art!
Cool idea and concept, pretty art, relaxing music, appealing character-design. I'm in love ~ This game could easily be turned into a full title with a little bit of polish. I played this game way more than I should have even if I knew there probably wasn't any ending or any sort of goal in sight
For some reason, the sprites for the heroes turn black when they return back from their adventures. But when you try to switch which hero to give a quest to, they become coloured once again
I absolutely love the little characters and art! Music is also very fitting and cute and I had lot of fun with this game :)
the ui is super clean in this game, which is rare for a game jam game. the art is super polished, and i think the UX was very well done considering the time constraints. the dialogue was pretty silly, and my main issue was that there was just not much to do past giving quests, and perhaps being able to help the heroes on their path would have helped add some variety to the gameplay.
The concept is great, there's silly upbeat writing and I'm all up for it, the art is well drawn, the UI is clean (minus the quest interrupting the map) although there is not much gameplay incentive, just a fun little narrative
Cute game! Always cool to see another take on the concept we made ourselves. Loved drawing a line to the quest marker, that was very satisfying :)
Loved the music and the art so much!! The concept of you being an NPC is a new concept, but I have a slight concern, what insentive do I have to pick a quest over the other, other than looking at the success percentage ofcourse! All in all very chill and lovely game!
Please be sure to rate our game back as well!
Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it.
Super charming, I love the quest descriptions and artwork. I thought sending my heroes off based on their success rate and seeing their stats go up was a fun and unique take. I wish I knew what happened after we beat the demon king! Alas, as a humble NPC I probably didn't even notice.
This was one of the best games I have played during the jam, love the music and the cute characters. It was just so addicting and felt like the perfect give quests to people game!
Fun stuff! The quests being completed or failed might have been nicer off in a corner, they kept interrupting me drawing paths. Really fun overall, wonderful art and music!
Timothy Toad is the GOAT. Absolutely DESTROYED that Demon King, and actually just about everything put in his path!
We always belived in him! 🐸💪
I love this idea! I like the characters (love Jenny and her abs), the UI is easy to use and looks super polished, and I like the quirky quests. I think it'd be more immersive though if it wasn't possible to see a character multiple times in a row since they're supposedly out on a quest already.
I totally agree! It was not intended, I think we ended up with a bug that caused that. Thanks for playing!
I couldn't figure out what i lost when a quest failed.
Everything in this game looks amazing ! The map was extremely satifying and i hope this kind of drawing mechanic would be featured in more games.
Also if you want to see the other side of this story, what happens when the adventurers are in the dungeon, check out our game !
really cool! super fun however my timothy the toad died a brutal death and im sad
I like this concept. I've always liked the kind of game where you play NPCs and help players
Funny, not sure if there is an ending?
No ending yet, I'm afraid!
Okay, I liked your game!
