Asthetics looks very polish, the feel of creating the level was so funny.

Developer

Thanks! I hope you liked playing it as much as we did haha

Incredibly clever and feature complete for a jam entry. As I'm sure you know the indicator of where your ball will go when bounced is... inaccurate, but hardly ruins the fun!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, we realized the indicator was not 100% precise, somewhen along the way we introduced some not deterministic force, and then there was no time to hunt it down and fix. But I am happy to know it didnt mess up your experience, thanks for testing!

This is a very great and addicting game, it just gets really hard on the last two levels which could be intentional but idk, i was really stumped how to get it on one strike on the second to last level. I love games where I can micromanage so this was right in my alley. Also maybe you should have included non HTML builds so we can play the game as an app because to use the pan I had to disable my browsers autoscroll, but Ik its most likely due to time constraints so that didnt affect my rating. Thank you for an awesome game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, the last two being a step up in difficulty was intended, we wanted to have a gentler learning curve, but time got in the way haha. Regarding the paning, it can also be done with WASD and Arrow keys, hope it helps :

oh thanks, i didn't know that, mustve read the tutorial wrong

Really great work in a jam! Fantastic presentation

Developer

Thanks surger! I appreciate it

Here from the Discord post, managed to beat level 5 with only 9 props! Very fun game and could very easily be expanded with more levels after the jam. As other comments have mentioned there are some strange interactions between the ball and ramps, and a zoom function to see the entire level could be nice. Also, a ghost trail showing your previous attempt/where the ball ended up could be useful for planning levels, and I’d prefer if the camera didn’t jump back to the golfer after each shot since it meant I had to scroll back and forth a lot when making minor adjustments. Overall a very impressive game!

Submitted(+2)

Yes I also agree with that, it was kinda annoying to have to guess where it landed before as all the textures are the same, especially on the shards its hard to see where exatcly it landed

Developer(+1)

That is great feedback and we appreciate it! The camera not paning back to the robot was something we discussed and wanted to have, but ended up not having time to implement. Either way congrats on beating it with only 9 and I am super glad that you enjoyed it!

Fantastic submission! Plays smoothly, easy to understand, ramps up well and the presentation is top notch.

Developer

Thank you Dip, it means a lot!

Really good game ! I’ve had a blast placing the different items so the robot friend could win in one strokes in every level (even if the fifth level was a little difficult due to indeterministic physics depending on the number & position of the objects). Overall 10/10 for me !

Developer(+1)

Thanks Hax, we really appreciate it! Yeah, I feel that level 5 was the hardest, but maybe also the most fun haha, thanks for the feedback as well!

Cool concept, nice art, well scoped.

Would love to see an extended version with more intricate mechanics!

Developer

thanks! Me and the team are thinking of it, as we really liked the current result, lets see

Good fun game guys, clean solid execution, seem challenging to pull off for a Jam project but came together very nicely, Congrats!

Developer

Thanks! It was challenging for sure haha, last build submitted 15minutes before the (original) deadline. The fact that the team was experienced with jams helped a lot, for sure

Submitted(+1)

Nice art, good sound, and an enjoyable main mechanic. Great Stuff!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The whole team really liked your entry as well

Very fun game with nice difficulty. Graphics and sounds are also great. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you Nikola! Will pass the feedback forward to our sound designer/musician

Really really nice game! The graphics, music, idea and gameplay are great and reminded me of thekind of games I were playing as a kid! Very nostalgic for me :D

And also the other sounddesigns and animations were really nice and made it feel so put together (the itch.io page is really nice aswell! So great work all of you guys!^

Here are some things that I have stumbled across while playing that I would be really happy to see fixed in an update:

- In level 3 the ball repeatedly got stuck on the corner of the hole, I fixed it in game by putting a box so it didnt get trapped there

- The ramps phisique and the "line" of the ball didnt match. The ball in game flies way more shallow than expected by the line

- The feeling of the phisique when the ball hits an surface from above feel off, even though I like that it doesnt bounce back from walls or boxes (when hit sideways) I would like it to roll down a ramp instead of just smashing into it and not moving an inch

- other than that? I am really happy that I got to play your game! Great work and especially GREAT work in only 48 hours! :D

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, it all makes sense and will be taken into consideration! Thanks once again Mary

Congratz on a great game :D

Developer

Thanks Pebbles!

This is a very impressive game for a 48h jam. It is a lot of fun messing around with the physics of the ball (I mainly used bumpers and speed bossts for the final levels). If you want to improve this game in the future I would suggest to add a zoom feature because some of the stages are very big and an option to make the ball leave a trail beehind after it was shot. Overall, a very good game.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback, those are great ideas

Submitted(+1)

it's a great concept where you think of the best way to improve robot shot, it's very polished for a 48 h Jam, i really liked the art and the different types of blocks to create interesting trajectory.

Developer

Thank you! Glad that you enjoyed our game

Absolutely incredible art, and the props the user is able to place are very imaginative. Our team thought of something similar when we were coming up with concepts, but we didn't imagine anything as colourful and fun as this. I second the gripe about the ball coming to a stop a little too quickly, but that's very minor. I think this is fantastic for a 48hr jam.

Developer

Appreciate it Jamie! We are thinking if we should keep improving it a bit on our free time just to see how much we could stretch the concept, lets see :)
