It took me a bit to realise how the gun works. I really like the bullets bouncing off the wall. I think the ammo crates spawning far away don't really matter and take a bit of fun away from the otherwise fun game.

The slimes moved a bit too slow, I never felt like I was in danger.

Congrats on submitting!

Oh ok, this is an idea really worth expanding on. As it stands, the fact you have two guns merged does not change much than if you had only gun, right? But what if, you could pick up and change your gun halves as you played? Then even the ammo bar could be more interesting, say a buff gun which recharges less, so you buff enemies less, and so on. Congrats on the complete game too :)

The idea could have been done better. There is no reason the ammo bars should be separate. The concept is cool, but in reality, it either means zombies get really strong at low health or you have to barely graze them on the right. Ammo refills also barely refill your bars. It needs some tweaking.

It was great fun! The moment I found out I could buff myself was a game changer. I loved playing around trying to split the bullets on corners and trying to balance choosing blue or orange. It was tons of fun!

Good job. You might be able to play around with these mechanics a bit more - maybe the orange and blue do different things or have different affects for certain enemies (could even heal them or something), this way you have to be a bit more strategic about what color to pick  up when.

Really good game. Very intresting and unique take on the theme. The idea with having your bullets both damage and buff your enemis is very smart and then that you can shoot yourself makes it even more clever.  That you sometimes run out off one kind off ammo is also intesting because it lets you deal damage without buffing or let you buff yourself without being damage. Great game!

Didn't expect to play this til the end, but it's really fun! Great work, this concept could definitely get pushed even further for a full release one day!

Well done, this game was quite fun. I played for far longer than I intended to originally. It was a little hard for me to control whether I hit an enemy with the buff or damage. An interesting mechanic that might be interesting to explore if you work on the game further would be to have mirrors that only reflect buffs or damage.

Cool game! I like how the projectiles are a double edge sword- the levels with the separate ammo pick ups really drove this idea home. The mirrors were a good idea to allow you to buff yourself up.

Nice game - keep it up - are you calculation the pathfinding every frame - the spirit not moving smoothly for me.

Really cool concept!

interesting concept that could easily be pushed into a very fun mechanic, good job

I like it, it was great fun! Agree with the sound effects being a bit tiring after a few levels, but I really like your take on the theme and really enjoyed gameplay.

Great concept, I like the interpretation of the game and most of my design related worries were addressed in later levels.

The execution is quite rough, but I can see a good game in there with some tighter hit boxes, control and some more juicy impact and general game feel.

Really cool concept! I think the buff per shot could have been have been higher as you don't really feel the effect on enemies since you kill them so quickly. Super novel idea though, good job.

Thank you! That's a good point. I think the buff vs. damage definitely could have been balanced better.

Game concept is good, just the graphics are a bit too minimalist

Developer

Thanks! I'd like to improve the graphics in the future.
