Very nice game, i've been impressed by the multiplayer factor, really loved that and looks really professional, congratulations

I think I know who will be the winner of the Game Jam. In all seriousness, the idea is really original. I played with great pleasure!

it was fun to spend some
time with this, really liked the way
you made the tutorial and overall interaction feel
and the creature is just too cute ✿

Such a good idea, and so well implemented, hats off!

It is really polished and fun game to play

What a gem! That was a joy to play!

I would have loved to use the mouse wheel for fast rotation and A-D for fine tuning. But it is the only aspect I can think about in therms of improvement!

Incredibly polished game with mechanic that fits the theme well! I have no idea how you could pack so much into the 48 hours, but it puts you into the top games for the jam in my book.

One small critique would be to allow the letter you want to work with to be selected with a left click. I found that I would drag a letter into place, but then if my cursor ended up over a different letter I'd be modifying another letter unintentionally.

+1 for the working scoreboard and level maker!

Developer

Thanks! So you dropped the letter and then tried to scale and rotate it to fit? This is supported too but the intended (and explained) way is to keep holding the letter while scaling and rotating it and the other letters won't (or at least shouldn't) interfare.

Submitted

Ah, I missed that then. I was playing on a laptop with a trackpad, so I would drag and drop the letter and then rotate and scale it. It makes sense to hold the letter while you're working with it. Great work!

I really enjoyed the asthetic and I think the concept is also really well excecuted

Probably the most polished game I’ve seen yet. The interpretation of the theme is perhaps not as original as can be, but the execution is off the charts. The self-contained typography puzzles themselves would have been enough on all their own, but implementing a Mario Maker-esque custom levels system is simply unreal. Very addicting, especially if you’re a graphics designer…

Amazing game! İt would make a very nice mobile game, also would be nice to use the mouse wheel to scale rotate. Overall great job!

The multiplayer functionality is so impressive. I would love to see a behind the scenes on how levels are stored. Even without multiplayer, the main game is amazing and would be a gem on its own.

Thanks! ❤️Nothing special on the backend really. All the letter positions/scales/rotations are just serialized to a JSON which is then thrown into a database.

For example

Dude. This is so fun. I can't believe you had the time to implement user levels. I'm gonna have a blast with this one

This is such a cool idea that I have not seen before, I could not stop playing

I really hope this one wins tbh

Developer

Thanks! I guess there were some words missing from that last sentence, I didn't quite catch the big picture you were going for...

Submitted(+1)

I think this deserves to be in the top 20! Not only is it such a cool idea, but the game is super polished! This is amazing!

Developer

Thanks! ❤️

Submitted(+1)

Hoping this one gets more attention, it feels great to play and I really want to see how the user-created levels turn out.

Developer (1 edit)

Haha, me too! I would get to play it properly too with levels I don't immediately know the solutions for. 😊
