Love the risk/reward balance, and the bosses were lots of fun too!

Mind-blowing. This was probably the game in this jam that I've played the longest. A few minor issues where the second boss has the collision mask enabled before fully spawned so you can already make damage after entering the room and once you have no more hearts there is no more penalty to collecting anything. I've probably beat the two bosses each around 30 times, kept collecting the attack upgrades until I was able to finish the bosses one-hit with the 50% health reduction, two hits without. I wanted to stop playing around five times and went for my mouse, but then decided - nah, a few more runs!

A few more bosses, a bit of fine tuning and this will be amazing - nevertheless had to give this game full score because I love the art, love the boss behaviour and thought this was a great game. Amazing job on this one!

Nice job! I really liked the art and the black and white style. It was cool too to have the health-upgrade trade off. I did find it a bit easy because the first boss you can just stand on the edges of the screen and attack the fists and then the second boss you can mostly just burst from below. But was definitely impressed with everything you included. Nice job!

I liked the artstyle! But I must agree with those before me, the second boss is way easier because of the upgrades you can buy.

I loved this in it's simplicity. I do wish the second boss was a bit harder since you can hit it faster than you can the first, but otherwise phenomenal job. Would love to see more.

This was fun and I think the risk reward thing is good. It's also fun to become so powerfull you can kill the bosses before they even attack.

pretty sick mate, using a 60% keyboard was a bit of struggle with it, just curious why you decided with arrows instead of traditional wasd with Q or some other key to attack? but overall fun game and cool concept for the jam theme

Awesome presentation. The visuals and the camera movements really sell the action, and it feels good to see how far you can get. 23 was my record. Would love to see this concept expanded. Great work!

The bosses are super fast, kinda hard to dodge with the floatiness and speed of the player. I enjoyed the mechanic though, being able to be a glass canon is really fun, I was taking down bosses in just a few strikes!

I love the artwork and combined health mechanics but the bosses are really hard to read and feel brutally unfair at times. Great game though!
