Interesting concept, but I feel like without knowing what the enemies would do I mostly have to brute force my way through the levels. Don't get me wrong it's very satisfying once you reach the end, but until then it's a lot of trial and error which doesn't really make you feel like you deserve reaching the end. Especially when the levels get larger and larger. Mark has a video on that, I believe ;)

But all in all it feels at least like a complete game, despite the lack of music and sfx. So: good job on that!

Clever game, super hard tho, the little amount of error margin is a little bit frustrating, but with some trial and error you can solve the puzzles.

Great job.

I really like the look of the game, but the complexity made levels seem less like puzzles, and more like trial and error.

The art is beautiful, and the palette is so elegant! I didn’t get too far, so maybe I didn’t have a chance to get used to it, but the plethora of choices and movement orders and combos can be kind of overwhelming. Maybe it would help if you highlighted the tiles you would move on if you chose whatever option you hovered over?

Interesting concept, and great execution. The visual style is great and the puzzles are -very- challenging but satisfying to get the hang of after the initial difficulty level. Really good job!

Really cool concept!! I love programming games with cards and puzzle games. The art also has really nice taste and it helps to understand the game. The only "negative" thing is the lack of music or sounds but it is a game jam!

Please develop this project!

Sooo i love this game and i hate it.

Loves:

art, mechanics and onboarding

Hates:

sound (lack of it to be precise) and the readability of the commands :(  It is really hard for me to see and recognize them.
also i feel that in some levels you gave too much commands to execute..i think that it would be sooo much better if player just had to recognize the order not order and which commands are ok.

It is the first time i wrote so much in the comment section XD

It is because of how much i loved your idea ;)

thanks for your feedback ❤️, I agree with you a lot

The art is really nice, and this concept is really cool!

I love the art-style! Game could devolve to trial and error in some parts, since it's hard to predict where you will end up, or how the enemy will behave. I think a bit more feedback on movement could go a long way. Cool stuff.

Fun little puzzle game!

I really like the concept and the art is nice. Timed blocks make the gameplay challenging.

Understanding why the enemies move the way they do, does make planning ahead difficult sometimes.

I love the artstyle ! We had a somewhat similar concept.

I really could see some rogue like with this artstyle and gameplay !

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, I originally wanted to make a rogue-like, but I didn't have enough time, maybe I will implement something like this outside the jam

I really enjoyed this chess-like experience where you need to count your next moves in order to succeed, great job!

I'm thankful!

I do like this, and the art is very good, however it's very similar to "You are Now Posessed" from last year's jam and could definitely use some sound.
