I like your idea a lot! It's pretty simple but satisfying to play. Controlling the characters can be kind of complex, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. Overall I think you did a really good job for this jam!

Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed!

Well it would be a coincidence that the concept of the game you have made its same as mine (why not check it) well yeah no grudges behold  nice addictive game

Developer

It's inevitable that people will have the same idea in a jam as big as this, though our games seem to have some fundamental differences. Thanks for playing!

Yeah... pretty cool

Really enjoyed moving around using both players! Great job!

Amazing! Simple but complete concept. Good to have rewards. Though it takes some skill to make two hands resonating :D

Well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

Quite a fun little game! You can get into trouble with controlling both the pillars, but I reckon that just needs practice. Well done!

Developer

There are a few tricks for improving control with the pillars, but it is quite difficult to keep track of which one is which. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

Very well thought out and fun to play! Great concept and application of the theme, and pretty difficult to manage both pillars at once.

Developer

Thanks for playing! We tried to make it easier to distinguish which pillar is being moved where, but it’s still quite hard to keep track of.

I wish it was a bit cheaper to restore chains but it was very fun

Developer(+1)

The shop probably needs some more balancing. Chains are quite tricky to keep on top of after you lose a few, but thanks for playing!

Nice game with simple but challenging mechanics! Fits the theme perfectly.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, I’m glad you liked it!

This took me a while to get used to (don't like using both arrows and WASD) but after I did it was fun.

Developer

Thanks for playing! It can also be controlled with the left and right stick on a controller, but we should have added some more input options.

Submitted(+1)

Really good idea ! It's a bit hard, but it work well ! GGs !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! If we had more time we might have balanced the difficulty more, or added difficulty settings.

Fun take on the theme, and a nicely polished game!

From a design perspective the health mechanic is interesting, because it causes a bit of a downwards spiral, once you're already losing it becomes much harder, which is simultaneously fun and frustrating

Really interesting game!

Developer (1 edit)

I’m glad you liked it! In terms of design that did seem to be quite a risky idea though. Thanks for playing!

Really fun, really addictive. I kinda had the same concept of linking both players, I like your take on this.

The shake when you get hit is very brutal (in a good way) ^^

Great work.

Developer

The screen shake can get a little intense, which is partially why I added an option to reduce it (on extreme it can sometimes go past the edge of the background). Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Submitted(+1)

Addictive game, but it becomes almost impossible if you have 3 or less chain links, which could be interesting if the hitboxes were smaller.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I think having pointier hitboxes or a way of getting finer controls would have made it a little fairer, so I’ll probably consider this if a post-jam version gets made.

great game, however I found the movement a little slow which made it a bit difficult. but really great idea.

Developer

I think the movement does need a little more balancing, however I did implement a few tricks that grant you faster movement when at full length. These probably should have been mentioned somewhere, thanks for playing!

no problem, hope you don't mind giving feedback on my entry.

Cute game! Loved the idea of using the money for upgrades! Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We were hoping to add some more interesting upgrades, but didn’t have much time.

Submitted(+1)

I really like how you implemented a progression ^^ Nice work

Developer

Thanks for playing! Upgrades and abilities were going to be a bigger part of the game originally, and we were thinking of adding some more interesting items, but couldn’t safely implement them in time.
