Okey. So it was enjoyable after I realized that I move in 3-dimensional space. But... anything supposed to happen in this game? I mean, I was flying for a while and didn't find anything to do in it.

Maybe it just me, but I didn't get it, I am sorry :(

Looks great! I'm not sure I understood where I was in relation to other things but the graphics are lovely.

Nice Game! The Graphics are fantastic! I was a little bit confuesd how to conrol it...

The combination of boosting and the orbit trails looks really nice!

Two small issues: 1) I was confused because I could not see that I need to collect 5 smaller stars maybe add an indicator if you continue working on this 2) There was no mouse capturing in the web version for me, which makes turning a bit difficult.

Nice job! I was not sure this whole time where I was in comparison to the other objects I needed to collect, but then you're in space and it makes sense this way. Great approach on a space game and the Jam theme, good work!

great job, sun

First: Great name! :)

Second: I had more fun with this then I thought. In the beginning it was hard to see which planets in the distance are smaller, but after a while it got easier, while my sun got bigger. And it got really addictive when you hear the sound of the planets entering your orbit more often. Really cool! The mouse was a bit too sensitive and more planet variants would have been cool. But overall a cool, little game :)

Probably one of the best names of this game jam, and that's saying something! Was fun seeing all the tiny stuff orbit around you and combining with other stars. My biggest complaint however, is when you start out it's really hard to see which stars are small since stars can just look small because they're far away. However, this doesn't really detract from the nice atmosphere (no pun intended?) the music and the graphics convey. Solid game!

Thank you! :D

This was a really cute game! I really loved how things started to orbit you and the music was perfectly fitting and made it really relaxing!

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked it!

The audio, and the little "Click" sound that is made when you attach to a smaller planet is very satisfying.

I won't lie, I initially clicked on it due to the meme. I was pleasantly surprised to see a get-bigger game.

Developer

Haha thanks!

There was a lot of great stuff to your game! The presentation is wonderful, I think the effects are really well executed - it's really pretty to have the smaller bodies orbiting around you, and you have the perfect amount of bloom and screens shake.

If you continue to work on this, I think two things would be really nice to add: First some sort of depth queues would be helpful - at smaller sizes it could sometimes be hard to understand depth (space navigation is weird!) The second would be maybe having you move a bit faster at the early stages. Movement is perfect when you're big, but it was a bit slow when you're small and have to traverse a bigger distance.

Really loved your game - it's a very well put together package that just oozes good, chill vibes. Congrats on submitting!

You had me at the title. My astronomy & pun-filled heart couldn't say no. And you did not disappoint. Well done! I did sometimes have trouble eating stars that were clearly smaller than me, but honestly, I don't care. I became the mega star, and that I do believe is winning, sun.

I had a problem where "small" stars were instead bigger than me once I got close, so I couldn't grow in the first place. Controls were a bit hard to use but not a problem after all. Nice presentation

I love the name!!! It's what attracted me here!

Very nice idea and concept. Reminds me of those fish games where you keep eating smaller ones to get bigger. This was nice and relaxing to play. The controls with my mouse were slightly tricky in the beginning but I got used to it. Gobbling up other suns was fun! I believe I got to the same point as max mentioned, I did eventually get big enough to eat everything I could see, but much of the time anything ahead of me started disappearing. Does that mean... I won??

Great job! Good use of the jam theme as well!

Haha felt proud when I thought of the name, even though it's a pretty bad pun on a meme xD

And yeah if that happened, then you reached the end! Didn't have time to do a real proper end screen but when you start being able to barely move but gobble a bunch of planets, then you reached the end

I love slowly getting larger. But I got pretty far where there were planets clipping in and out of view and I didn't really know if I was getting larger. I just kept hearing the planet clicking sound. Is there an end game? I did find it really satisfying though.

Developer

If you started hearing a bunch of planet clicking sounds, then that's pretty much the end game. There no UI or win screen telling you you reached the max size, but sounds like you reached the end :p
