Short but sweet proof of concept here, lots of potential with moving around the chains of ants to create interesting puzzles. Large maps with areas to offload a long line of ants carrying apples could be cool. Or maybe having real time hazards to keep you on your toes. Well done!

It's a cool idea. Somewhat snake-like. However, it needs some interesting applications. I can't think of some myself. But if you come up with levels to integrate your idea nicely, it could be fun. <3
Like the mechanic, it's very simple but can be fun. Really great to've accomplished for your first game! You already got the feedback that ramping up to more challenging things in the levels would appeal to folks once the basic mechanic has been made clear. I'm not sure where else you would've gone with follow-the-leader as a base - out of curiosity, did you have anything in mind if you'd had the time?
Just as a comment for future creations, it might also be good to try to balance out the loudness of the sound effects vs music - could've been something with my settings, but the sounds were quite loud compared to the music (not that this is simple or something I'd expect to be mastered on a jam game ^_^ )
Anyway, fun little game. Cheers! ^_^
Great to see you again and thanks!
Sorry to anyone who got their ears blown out by the sound effects, I had already adjusted the sound settings before building the game but it somehow got reverted to the default and I managed to fix it after the jam has already ended:(
Originally I had the idea of some kind of mechanic splitting the rest of the ants from the leader and rejoining with simple enemies but it ended up being too difficult for me to implement it in that time and I've already wasted too much time on tutorials, it ended up being rushed.
Ahhh man I hate it when stuff like that happens with the sound! I'm glad to know that it was that you'd already tried and it was just having a rebellious streak ^_^
That sounds really interesting! I ran out of time for important elements on my own game so I completely get the constraint, but it sounds like it would've gone in a very interesting direction ^_^ Anyway thanks again!
its good and would benifit from more levels
if u checked my game out itd be cool ^w^
there is only 1 level that requires thinking and that is just because the player doesn't know a mechanic
Nice work! I really liked the visuals on this game, and the puzzles were straightforward. Also, I had no issues using the Web build of the game.
Web version work for me unless there is more than 8 level ? But I don't think because you say the game need more level ^^
Anyway good little puzzle game, well done ;)
Nice concept, good graphics! It could be longer and have some harder to solve levels. But I know that creating puzzles take time and you have to cut the corners somewhere. I had to stay with programmers art in my puzzle game.
Nice Game !
A bit short but level design takes WAY too much time for a jam in my opinion :')
