Adorable and fun idea, reminds me a little bit of 'Placid Plastic Duck Simulator'! It gave me very slight motion sickness hahah but that might just be a me-problem. Well done! :)

I'm in love with this game, this is my favourite so far of the entire jam! I'm a sucker for a outside-the-box idea and cute character designs, this has both, and as a bonus, clever writing, well-fitting music and fun gameplay with different mechanics added such as the bomb and glass. Amazingly done!

Super impressed with the music/style and everything, especially that you got a working leaderboard in there! Minor feedback would be that it would be great to maybe have a visual indicator of the beat instead of just the music at first as it took me a while to figure out what to do. :) But fantactic job!

Great SFX, cute visuals and smooth gameplay! Very well done and impressive for a game jam!

Hats off to you for providing a clear, in-depth tutorial in a game jam! Very impressive. Really liked how the mechanic of the game works together with the music in the background. Clever puzzles too - very impressive!

Big fan of the music and the car design/animation :) Sadly I'm very bad at driving games, but this was well done!

Love the visuals and atmosphere, well done! A bit tricky to grasp the controls/actions at first but overall a great take :)

Thanks!!

Thank you! Great suggestion, we tried to add it last-minute and couldn't figure out how to make it work.. so it became a 'feature' hahah :)

Thank you so much!

Absolutely adorable artstyle, could definitely use some music/SFX but well done for a solo game!

I love this idea! I love typing games (Typing of the Dead especially) and would love to see a version with words typed out as well, really like the bowling theme as well. Agree with the others that it was semi stressful haha but in a good way.

What a cute concept! The sound effect that plays when you loop the sheep really cracked me up haha. Got a high score of 87!

This really gave me Dredge-vibes, and unfortunately I am very bad at controlling a boat it seems! But I really love the music, visuals, and idea. Well done!

Really like this take on the theme (also love cooking games so might be biased), well done! Flash-game vibes that I'm sure I'd spend hours on when those were still around.

Just wanted to say well done for making the platforming/jumping feel so slick!

I'm a sucker for rhythm-based games, and I like this concept! Just wish there was more than one level :)

This is super sleek and polished, very impressive! Reminds me of 'bridge builder'. :)

I liked it! Very simple but addictive puzzle game, though I struggled a little bit with deleting my lines sometimes (but absolutely forgivable in a game jam). Well done!

(1 edit)

Thanks!! :) We did have an idea for a movement upgrade but unfortunately ran out of time, it's a valid point.

Thank you so much!

Dangerous as this is extremely addicting.. Great job!

What a clever idea and well executed, I love all the little animals boogying in the background! Was impressed when I read you did all the music yourself too, great job.

Thanks for playing! Yeah for sure, glad you managed to get through the 2 bosses :)

Love the idea of reincarnation as a 'loop' theme! A bit tricky to control, but I like the narrative with the different animals having different goals. :) Well done!

Hamtaro vibes, love it! I played Ham-Ham-Heartbreak when I was young and now I wish they made a turn based game, great stuff.

I love how particular this duck (?) is about its flower arrangement; super cute puzzle game! Love the style, very unique - reminds me of a Nintendo DS game when they were in their prime. :) Like another commenter said, I needed the restart once when I failed and didn't have cards left, but other than that it played very smoothly!

Turns out I'm an idiot and was trying to drag the robot lady (thick thighs save lives) along.. thank you! Time to give it a proper go!

This is so great for a first game, well done!! I see that others have given you plenty of helpful pointers, especially those pointing out UI and tutorials to help the player understand a bit better where to start and what to do. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Intro REALLY set the tone, the art and vibes are great! Although I was sadly a bit confused about the controls of moving stuff around after that :(

THANK YOU! EAT IT!

Argh can't image it on a trackpad, but kudos to you (and huge thanks) for trying - EAT IT!

ALSO has Spongebob art vibes (that's a compliment)!

This is the one.. seriously, my favourite game of this jam so far. Unique idea, FANTASTIC execution, wow! You even get to see the horrible mess you made in action?! I am SO bad at this game and still I keep coming back for more, I suspect it's the amazing animations. Really reminds me of games I played when I was younger, it has so much character. Well done!

Weirdly addictive! I got a lot of draws, but that could be because my brain operates at the level of a pirate cat.

Gosh, this is adorable and made me forget about all my troubles for a bit. Thank you!

This is very addictive.. Love the style, vibes, everything! Very clever mechanic, reminds me a bit of Balatro. Took me a second to realise where the king was that I was moving, but when I got it I was all-in. Did I mention the style is SUPER cool?

This is super super cute! I really like the game mechanic and concept, I wish there was a way to get some points faster as it seemed to be quite slow from how far I got - not necessarily like a clicker element, but something more rapid than random enemy spawning times.. food for thought, I really liked playing it though!

This is absolutely insane! What a creative way to tell a story, and having it so beautifully done, WOW! I do agree with some other commenters that it could benefit from some direction, but seriously - well done.

Character design is 10/10! Sadly I wasn't quite sure what to do, and couldn't get the tutorial to work :(
