was fun! Somehow figured out how to kill the boss. My secret? Small details such as the stones on the dirt ceiling, shurikens poping showing that it deals no damage and more! great game
Super cool game. I feel like the shurikens could be more predictable, but that is a small issue in a largely polished game for 48 hours of jam time.
Nice visuals and fun gameplay. I liked that the movement was also the weapon and utility. The footstep sound was pretty annoying though.
That was a ton of fun! Great aesthetic, nice mechanics and fun levels. Well done!
Nice work!
Cool game! Super satisfying defeating the enemies and swinging with the chain
It's amazing you accomplished all this 48 hours! Really cool game, the sounds are really retro and well suited for the game. I liked the ninja's death animation - like exploding bug guts. Well done!
This is an incredible game with a really neat concept. Please make it a full game and I will buy it.
Coolest mechanic of the whole jam, it's a shame I couldn't find a way to damage the boss.
I love the sprite and the music, but the sounds effects are really unbearable
Shhhh. Dont tell no one. There is a clue on the boss room ceiling on how to beat them. ;)
Ok, I did hit, that was painful
Well made, and quite impressive for the time constraints!
Great game ... love how the kunai works!
after level ~8 this got hard quickly.
a really well made game. good job
Fun mechanic, I wish I could use it to build a springy platform as well. Maybe in the sequel? :) The difficulty spike was a bit big but still, good thinking on the mechanic! Check out my submission to for some chill time petting a dog!
Love the game art was great, not the least bit confusing, nice job
Thank you for the kind feedback!
Nice game
I expected more from a game made by 5 people! Movement feels a little bad. I loved the art.
Thank you for your feedback! I wanted to make sure that everyone who contributed received credit, but I hope you don't let the team size affect your view of the project! Most of the programming was done by just one person! Also, I'm sorry that the movement felt bad. Was there anything in specific that we could improve?
I absolutly love it
It had some minor bugs and a tutorial would be nice. took me some time to realize right click was to pull, but when i figured it out, i had the time of my life
loved the boss fight, was tricky to figure out, but once i had it, it was quite satisfying
Awesome! Thank you for the kind feedback! Glad to hear you made it to the boss!
Was really tricky to figure out how to use the chain to pull two ninjas together. I only got past that part after persisting and accidentally getting it to work. Never quite figured out exactly how to do it. Overall the strongest part here I thought was the programming - definitely challenging to get something like this working! Well done!
Thank you! To pull two ninjas together, you should just shoot one with your first Kunai and then shoot a second one. They should get pulled together right away! Sorry if that was unclear!
Thanks for the kind feedback!
Top-notch. Good polish and feels good. I would agree with sinineblue though that the wall grapple stops the flow abruptly.
Maybe we could remove the ceiling-hanging and go for a wall-slide instead. That's a good idea. Thanks for your feedback!
This game was really really fun, the chain mechanic was so fun to play around with pulling people around, making them collide, pulling yourself towards them.
My only real gripe is that grappling to a wall stopped the flow of combat too abruptly, maybe a wallslide instead of a stick would be better but I understand that that might ruin the puzzles.
Thank you for your kind feedback. That's a great idea! We might need to remove the ability to hang from the ceiling, but maybe it would be more fun with a wall-slide. Thank you!
