the tap / hold mechanic was very effective. good job!
Thanks for playing!
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I've never felt so engaged into a game while reading dialog. I don't know what it is... because it is not like the art is incredible or there's any music... all of the atmosphere comes from the dialog and it's perfect. I liked the different ways to progress the dialog - I've never seen a game like this. The writing is fantastic. Great job.
Thank you so much, glad you liked it!
I like this idea and would love to see it expanded though, as has been said already, the varying ways of progressing dialogue feel inconsistent. Also, I feel the characters J and M blend together a bit, like they lack differing personalities. I do like the dialogue, though. With the names at the end, I take it this is based on real life interactions? Anyway, keep it up!
Thank you, that motivates us to keep working on it!
One inspiration behind the story was the song, The Black Keys - The Only One, we wanted to add it!
Good read. I think you could have tried to do more with the theme. The various way to read further is a really good idea, but most of the time they don't feel related to what is being said.
Thanks for playing and letting us know your feedback!
Nice story, a well written conversation that feels natural. not sure if they took drugs or not, that was the impression i got, but it didn't immediately read why the world was tripping out. I give a 3(average) for adherence to theme, a 2 for design, since you did design some variety in the clicking to get through, and a 5 for Originality. Nice game man!
Thanks for playing, we love the feedback!
A very artistic take on the 'only one' prompt. Short and sweet :)
